But I'm still hungry!!!

I can't seem to get full! Today is the first day I've felt like this. I'm 27w+3d. I usually get full really fast and can't eat all my food. But today I have eaten everything to cross my path. Today I've eaten a yogurt, cheese crumbles, turkey sandwhich & chips, pb&j and 3 cookies and 4 bottles of water. It's only 4pm and I'm still super hungry! What can I do to cure my appetite? Do anyone else has days like this?

    Bigger meals have been seeming to work for me. I am used to eating small frequent meals but that has not been doing the trick lately. Today I also ate everything in sight and I am still hungry. I forgot about how I become a bottomless pit in the third Tri..

    I am so hungry lately. Esp at work. Work seems to be the worst and it doesnt matter how much food I bring, it is never enough. But then I don't eat at home because I'm not hungry. 
  • Also, I forgot to mention, almost welcome to the third trimester!  I've been feeling the same way for the last couple weeks.  Time to start eating more mama. Baby is hungry!

  • Definitely eat a bigger breakfast or a second one. Yogurt and cheese crumbles would never hold me over. Also, listen to your body. If it's telling you its hungry, eat! We get that luxury when we are pregnant :)

    Thanks ladies! I'll try eating a bigger breakfast. I eat when I'm hungry. Today it's just like no matter how much I eat I'm still hungry. A friend told me to add some protein powder to my yogurt or something like that. So I'll see how that works.
  • I've been much hungrier lately too and it showed on the scale this month. I try not to snack but its hard to resist!
  • I had to switch to a whole grain cereal instead of my small oatmeal for breakfast which helped. I've also only brought so many snacks to work which helps but I stay hungry like 60% of the time. Some days you just have to give in though. One day last week I literally ate almost a whole bag of baby carrots.
  • Eggs! Two breakfasts! Whatever you are craving eat it! Third trimester is the time we can eat more woo hoo! I'm hungry all the time too! :)
  • I am probably the worst person to advise on this because I say eat whatever you want, whenever you want! you are growing a baby. eat all the foods!

    I just ate two pints of Ben and Jerry's and I'm not sorry.
  • Smoothies! I swear by Jamba Juice and its a great way to get more fruits and veggies into your diet, they are super filling, and it balances out the donuts and thin mints:)
