Still Here! BabyVDM's Belated Birth Announcement - PIP 2 Beautiful Girls

The last post I made was regarding my heading to the Hospital for our scheduled "urgent" c-section
I ended up presenting with high-blood pressure about 4-5 hours before the surgery. It became a bit of a problem, but we moved on.
Baby A was difficult to get out of there and came out a little bruised but was vigorously kicking and screaming right away. Then along came Baby B our smaller baby was very slow to start and had to rushed off to NICU.
Then we had a bit of trauma. My uterus wasn't contracting, I started to bleed out, they kicked my DH from the room, hooked me up to several more IV's including an ARC line and I had to have blood transfusions. I almost had to have a hysterectomy but thankfully they tried very hard to save it. I was awake the entire time.
I was in hospital for 5 days with complication after complication. Baby A was with me the entire time, and then we were released home. Baby B was in NICU and for about 10 days.
We have all been home for a while now. It's been tough with Baby B being so delicate and Baby A being such a bruiser compared to her wee sister.
Unfortunately DH's father passed away from a heart attack a few days ago. DH had to travel back home to SA so had left me and my Mom to care for the infants. It's been a really trying time.
Here is a picture of my sweet girls who still remain nameless as DH and I still haven't had a chance to settle on the names.

I am also so sorry for your loss! Hope your husband is doing ok.
Congrats on you beautiful girls though. I hope those faces can help you and your dh through the loss of your FIL.
