Potty time

I asked daycare to take DS to the potty today on their "breaks". I want him to get use to going to the potty (not acutally "going" per say) on a regular basis. Hopefully i can ease him into potty training!!

Wow! That's awesome-- DD is nowhere near ready. I hope maybe to try this summer if she's talking more.

I don't think we're anywhere being ready either. I'm not even sure I'll recognize "ready" though. I'm dreading the whole process :S

Yes 3 other kids go so i thought that would be a big help. He has peed on the potty several times before bath. And last night i caught him trying to poop. I quickly rushed him to the potty and he did his business there.

Good luck everyone with the potty training!! Really glad I am past that though! I thought DS would have went to kindergarden in diapers! It was rough. So no advice from me. Lol.

We're currently taking a break. It's not going well. But we have an absolute deadline of September because the preschool won't take him otherwise.

I am hoping we can potty train DS before 1st grade. LOL.. He is so stubborn that and I know it will be hard. His pedi said not to push it and that boys usually take longer. I take him to the potty everyday and he sits for a while but never pees or poops. Someone please hold me. Why can't toddlers come with a manual on how to use or a remote control.

Daycare just called to tell me DS peed in the potty!! She said he was super proud of himself! I'm hoping o ease him into it and we are not pushing anything.Still diapers ect just wanted to get him use to the idea.
