Tax question

So...I know we can claim all the IUIs and stuff, but can we claim our sperm purchases?

What are all of you claiming/not claiming?


10 medicated IUI's (3 with injectables). 
IUI #1 (medicated) Jan. 2013-BFP!!!!- Beta's didn't double, MTX shot for possible ectopic.
8 IUI's between April 13-April 14 = BFN 
IUI #10 and final before IVF, injectables May 2014- BFP!!!!  TWINS!!!!

7 week ultrasound showed 2 wonderful heartbeats!
8 weeks to the ER with vaginal bleeding while on vacations!  Diagnosed SubChorionic Hemorrhage.  Babies are both great.
9 week ultrasound showed both babies are still great.

    You can claim any "Out of pocket" medical expenses.  YES that includes sperm AND the shipping of said sperm.  But you have to reach a certain threshold before you are able to claim it.  I can't remember what that percentage of income is, but someone on this board knows as this was discussed fairly recently.  10% of your income maybe?  Hopefully someone else is more helpful.  But I definitely wanted to chime in to remind you that shipping can be included in what you claim.l

    Ultrasound at 6w4d shows a single, fluttering heartbeat.  Say hello to Sticky Ricki!

    Yeah that's what we did too but Sarah was nervous about adding Sperm to it.
