I wanted to thank all the ladies that helped alleviate my fears about DD's missed milestones. I already had an appointment with the pedi so DH said we should go ahead and still talk to him and he did some tests with DD and I feel much better. She was off the charts on her fine and gross motor and her social and personal skills were average for her age. She was behind on language, but the pedi also said it is hard to judge that as this point because at 12 months most kids have 1-2 words mastered. We are going to check her hearing at the end of this month, which needs to be done anyways because her billi was so high back when she was born and then go from there. I will be calling early intervention, but as of right now she would probably not qualify for services. If she does not improve she will be more likely to qualify at 15 months so rather than risk them seeing her now and then not seeing her again for 6 months, we are going to wait and call in a few months.
On a less stressful note, I have been so distracted I almost forgot there is a little baby growing in my belly and seeing the little bug on our ultrasound was so sweet

They said I was a little further along than I am, since I know when I ovulated and since I carried to 42 weeks last time I know the risk associated with a due date scheduled too early. I convinced by OB to push my due date back by one day...woot woot...I am used to midwives and birthing centers but the options for midwives here in TN is much, much more limited than what I am used to back in NY....I am still a little uncomfortable with the situation, but I am going to give it a few more visits before I make up my mind. Anyways, here is our little guy (or girl!) we are going team green on this one...yolk sack is to the right and he is lying sideways to the left.
Re: Missed Milestones update...and ultrasound AW :)
@marshmallows I have checked the Vandy midwives but I was hoping to deliver at Baptist. I would love the name of a doula we are definitely planning to use one!!
