Graco smart seat

So I have been researching convertible car seats because LO is heavy and I'm short so it's difficult for me to get him in/out of the car. He'll be 4 months Friday and I'm gonna switch him between 5-6 months.

Does anyone have this seat? Love? Hate? What do you have? Love hate? I want one that will do it all (rear face, front face, booster) so I don't hate to buy yet another seat.

This is the one we have for ds1 and we love it. Very easy to transfer to other cars too

We have the Recaro Proride 70 for DD1 and love it. Easy to transfer between cars, easy to buckle, adjusts with the turn of a knob, straps never twist. We just wish it had a cup holder option. And I wouldn't recommend for small cars. My parents have the britax marathon and we don't like it as much. It's harder to tighten down and doesn't buckle as smoothly.

I know the thought of a carseat that does it all- even a booster- sounds perfect. I too wanted this before I researched. But if u buy it now, your car seat will most likely expire (6 years I believe) before you can even use the booster option. A booster seat only costs about $25 when they get older. And I like the peace of mind that comes with knowing my carseat is a one-piece construction rather than two pieces. I know both types car seats exceed safety standards but I read one-piece is the stronger.

I really don't think u can go wrong here. It's just whatever fits your car and floats your boat!
