Should I worry? DS hangs legs through slats of crib

DS has started hanging his legs through the slats in his crib. He seems to know how to get them in and out, but I'm not sure if I should be worried or not. The Ped didn't really seem too concerned about it. Right now I have a breathable crib bumper but it doesn't stay up and DS actually enjoys pushing it all the way down to get his legs out. Just wondering if anyone else's LO does this and if I should be worried.

In addition to what PP mentioned I was also worried about him potentially breaking a limb by getting it stuck. The bigger concern is what PP mentioned. So it sounds like I should take the bumper out and let him carry on as he is doing now.
