September 2014 Moms

How is your bloat doing?

This past week or so I feel like my bloat has gone down. I haven't lost weight just don't have a huge bloated belly. Just a baby belly. It's hard to explain but you ladies who have had a baby know the difference. It's almost weird to me to not be huge and bloated looking and feeling anymore.

How is your bloat doing?

Re: How is your bloat doing?

  • Bloat still going strong/getting worse. Switching to maternity pants or sweats every evening because my regular pants get too uncomfortable.

  • It's worse in the evening but 'm showing by now some too. I made the switch to maternity clothes a couple weeks ago.
  • I feel like the bloat has gone down significantly within the last week or so. It still comes and goes, but looking at my last two weekly photos - there is a huge difference in bloat.

  • I'm almost 15 weeks and I don't even know what to call it! I finally have something there its there when I wake up, and even after a good poo, but I can still somewhat suck it in! Lol

  • I don't know what to call it either. I don't think its bloat anymore but I don't know. Like ArmyWife says I can still seem to suck it in but its still there when I wake up or go to the bathroom.

    ALL WELCOME :)
  • Same deal  here. It's nice to actually feel pregnant and not just fluffy some days.

  • Feel bloated and FAT, but I know it's not bump because its soft and baby is only the size of a lime :) got some pea in the pod skinny black pants for work, since im trying to hide this as long as possible. They are super flattering and SO comfy. Feels like I'm wearing PJ's. Highly recommend!
  • I feel like mine has gotten better in the last week or so.  Still the most bloated in the late afternoons, but not as bad as I was a few weeks ago.

  • Mine deflated a few days ago. I feel much better than I did, although it did freak me out a bit at first because that was the first time since BFP that I didn't feel that pregnant. I'm still too fat for my normal clothes though. Oh well - no going back now! :D

Lol, I couldn't have described it better myself. This is me currently. There's definitely something there now when I wake up, but it still seems to big too be a baby bump.

    ETA for spelling
  • I'm in the same bloat boat! It's my first so I can't tell if my intestines are full of carbs or if it's a baby bump. I had lost weight at my first appt due to serious food aversion and MS. I try to pay attention to what makes me gassy but I swear it's everything! Bump feel ski da hard but kinda soft how do you tell?!?
  • I believe if you can suck it in; it isn't baby. If it comes and goes; it isn't baby. Really our uteruses aren't that big yet and are in the pelvic area and slowly moving out. I can suck all but a tiny bump in and I feel some days I look 7 months preg and other days like I just have a little pooch which is baby.
