I am 31 weeks and my baby is in a head up feet down breech position. Just wondering if anyone elses baby has still not moved into position? When did your baby move into position if it has already done so?
How do you know? I have no idea baby's position and doc hasn't mentioned it. My uneducated guess though is that there is still lots of time for baby to get into position
I am high risk due to fibroids so I have ultrasounds done every 6 weeks. I just went on Tuesday and the ultrasound tech got me a little nervous that the baby won't turn. But I think the baby has been head down before because I have had some hard "kicks" I am assuming because I don't think punches would be so powerful but who knows.
Baby is head down feet up back when I went to visit my MW at 30 weeks. He's still head down and feet up at 32 weeks. MW feels for the head and the butt. She explained that the butt is solid and if she moves the butt it won't wiggle side to side, but if she tries to move the head and it can easily move side to side like a bobble head then that's LO's head. Though at yesterdays visit LO was laying a little crooked, not quite north south more like the head was slightly to left in my lower uterus. Though I was told there is still plenty of time for babies to flip.
Still very early, I wouldn't worry yet. If your LO doesn't move though by 36ish weeks you could try spinningbabies. Also if you're doing hypnobirthing (or not) there are tracks you can download that are supposed to help.
Breech baby here and I am 32+6 confirmed via ultrasound. Normally babies can still flip so no worries. I have complications since my water broke and very little fluid, therefore in my case, slim chances. In a normal healthy pregnancy, it's still plenty early and I wouldn't be concerned.
My LO was head down last week, flipped a few days ago, was transverse for a while, and flipped back into position before my US this morning. He's a crazy little guy.
In my Lamaze class, we were told that babies can flip even during labor. I wouldn't worry about it till much later.
33 weeks here and baby is breech, I have fibroids so I get regular ultrasounds. Dr and techs don't seem concerned yet so Im trying to be relaxed and take a wait and see approach as well. Also.I tried to do a headstand yoga position mentioned on spinning babies sight, it wasn't good very pregnant woman are not good balancers and therefor not meant to attempt advanced yoga position s
I'll be 33 weeks tomorrow, we went for u/s @31 weeks and baby was head down feet up but turned to the side in a curled position. I have one more growth U/S @35 weeks so we are hoping baby reveals whether or not were having a boy or girl.
Today, my midwife said it doesn't matter what position LO is in now (32 wks) but at about 36 weeks is when they start to get concerned. For me, baby keeps going transverse...which is painful.
My dr has never mentioned my baby's position and I really don't think it is an issue until we get closer. My baby is all over the place and I can't even tell where his head is. I'm not sure if it's punching, kicking or head butting that I'm feeling.
Like others have said, the baby can turn up through labor. No reason to worry about it at this point. Even if the baby turns head down it can flip again at any time. My sister's baby was breech and they did a version to turn it. They turned it successfully and later that day while she was in labor he flipped back! Stubborn little guy

@Kinipela7 The doctor can feel and tell you, you just have to ask.
My little one is head down diagonal and has been for weeks. I'm not complaining though because her kicks miss the rib cage. I asked my dr at 33 weeks and he wasn't too worried but did mention if she didn't move it would be a c section.

Mine is also transverse/diagonal. Her head is down in the lower left of my pelvis and her bum is below my right ribs. My OB said at my last appointment (at 28 weeks) that they weren't going to be concerned about that until I get to 36 weeks. No mention of C-section, though. At least not yet. There is still time for the babies to shift.
I have fibroids too. Are you worried at all that there won't be room to flip?
In my case my fibroids are on the outside of the uterus and have not grown with pregnancy so I don't think that is an issue, are yours being monitored regularly? Have the changed in size or location?
Yeah I am considered high risk because of them. The largest one shows signs of degeneration but one that I wasn't worried about because it was "small" is growing, and the others they can't see on the ultrasound anymore because of the location of the baby. I have to get them removed after the birth of the baby. There were no signs or evidence of fibroids 5 months prior to getting pregnant crazy these things that can happen. Good luck with your little one!
