My LO will be 4 months on Wednesday and for the last few days he's had these little bumps on his face everything that can be washed is always washed in the same detergent he's had since newborn (dreft) no change in formula haven't had any new visitors or new products that touch him not his or ours. The bumps are not red or seem to bother him any ideas why they happen or how to treat? (4 month check up is just around the corner)

    Thank you ladies for your help and suggestions! He has his 4 month app today I will bring it up and see what it is.

    Sounds like eczema.  Our poor little man has been dealing with it for the last 3 1/2 months.  You can use aquaphor but it has to be the baby aquaphor.  The original aquaphor still has fragrance in it even though it says fragrance free.  We also use Aveno Baby Eczema therapy moisturizing cream (nicer consistency to work with, not oily like aquaphor) and the coordinating bath wash.  If it is eczema  you shouldn't use Dreft because it has fragrance in it which is a trigger for eczema.  You can use anything that has the National Eczema Foundation logo on it.  Moisturize often and give baby a warm bath everyday no longer then 10 min in the water.  Don't use soap every time either because soap is drying to the skin.  Lightly pat dry and moisturize immediately after the bath.  If it doesn't get better he may need a prescription.  It will most likely keep coming and going until the weather gets nicer.

    Thank u! Our pedi said it wasn't eczema and it would go away on it's own the face bumps cleared up he still has a small dry patch on his head and he seems to scratch at it now. So we are trying the mustela shampoo today was his 5th bath using it but no luck yet so gonna try the olive oil if it's still there in another week or so.
