Dd will be ready to get out of her Chicco Keyfit infant seat soon. We plan on moving her into ds's Marathon and getting him a new on. He is 4. So we want to get him one of the 3 in 1 kind. He is stillin the 5 point harness and will be for a while. What would you ladies with older children suggest? I would check to see the safety rating on Consumer Reports, but don't have a subscription anymore.

I love my Nautilus! Five point harness seat, high backed booster, to a regular booster, all in one. My only complaint with the Frontier was the cost. The Nautilus was a little less expensive (and I lived the pink butterflies pattern that I got for DD).

Can I ask why you don't like the Argos? It looks so similar to the Nautilus, I though they would be very comparable. My SIL is thinking about getting this one for her son.

STUCK IN A BOX! One of the main issues is the buckle is a total PITA, which is a part of the huge Graco recall, so hopefully that will be corrected once I get my replacement buckle. I also think there isn't a lot of area for growth in the crotch area so I worry that it's going to start to be uncomfortable for DS1 as he gets older. The Frontier has a lot more room in this area. We also travel a lot and tend to travel at night when the boy are sleeping; the Frontier reclines more than the Argos, so it's easier for DS1 to sleep in; with the Argos, his head is always falling forward.

Thanks ladies. I was leaning towards the Frontier, but wanted to hear from others. We have the Nautlius in DH's truck. I am not a huge fan. That crotch strap is a big pain!
