NBR Travel Question and Small Vent

So I am in charge of planning a short get away for us and our close friends next month to Charleston, SC. I found a great hotel with an amazing rate and was all set to book. Right before I booked it (thank goodness), I realized the hotel was in a city with the same name but actually located in PA! Ugh, I feel like a complete idiot, especially when I had to call everyone and tell them. Does anyone have a go to site to book travel last minute with half way decent rates? Also, any advice on Charleston? Thanks!

    Orbitz has promo codes right now for 15% off. Also groupon has some great deals for Charleston occasionally. If you want good reviews site I always use TripAdvisor

    Are you using Trip Advisor? I never book a hotel without checking it out on there first.

    Check cities around Charleston. Mount Pleasant is very very nice and has nice beaches. 10 minutes to Charleston. You want to stay away from North Charleston.

    Thanks ladies! I used orbitz and the codes and actually got a pretty good deal. I am just wondering if my brain will ever return to normal functioning again? :)
