I'm bored, answer my questions!

1. What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten?
2. If you could go back in time, when/where would you go?

1. What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten? Brain and tongue, both cow. Tasted awesome, could not get over the textures.

2. If you could go back in time, when/where would you go? I would go back to when my Granny was my age. She was awesome, and I'd love to know what she was like back then, to share parenting info, and just to chat.

3. Do you have any hidden talents? I can paint a room without taping off any trim and most times I can make a pretty damn straight line with just my paintbrush, no touch ups necessary.

4. Do you know anyone in jail? Not currently. My BIL's dad was in jail for a few years, but eventually was found not-guilty during his appeal, so he's home again. For the record, I don't think he killed her.

5. If you had to, what family member would you kill off and why? To make this harder, they have to be blood related, no IL's (or I have a feeling we all know who'd be the first to go!). Having asked this, I now don't want to answer it!! I'd say my uncle, my dad's only full blood brother (he's got quite a few halves). He's arrogant, he whistles for his wife, and he called his teenage daughter a whore because her nails were too long.

6. How many of the US states (or Canadian provinces, for those north of the border) have you stepped foot in? States: 10 States, one Canadian province.

7. Your house is on fire. Name the three things you take out with you (assume family members and pets are all safe). My special box (a collection of family heirloom/special stuff from my childhood), my necklace tree as there are several special necklaces hanging on it, and my purse because getting all new cards is a bitch.

8. Do you have any phobias? I have a severe dislike of heights. Not sure it counts as a phobia, but it's pretty damn close.

9. Where is your bloodline originally from? England. My dad's family came over on the Mayflower. My mom's family came over with...my mom.

10. If you could redo one room in your home (not the nursery, that's too easy), which room would you do? My kitchen/dining room (yay for open floor plans, two for the price of one!). The floor sucks balls, there isn't enough storage space, and the cabinets/counters don't match right. I want a pretty kitchen that contains all the things!

2. If you could go back in time, when/where would you go? California in the 60's

3. Do you have any hidden talents? I can touch my tongue to my nose. I also think I can sing pretty good, at least it sounds good in my car. Rarely in front of people.

4. Do you know anyone in jail? My sisters bf just got out.

5. If you had to, what family member would you kill off and why? To make this harder, they have to be blood related, no IL's (or I have a feeling we all know who'd be the first to go!)
This may not count but my dad ( who raised me from 2 years old but not biological, so step dad I guess) he's an ass. Can't think of anyone else.

6. How many of the US states (or Canadian provinces, for those north of the border) have you stepped foot in? States = 5. Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona.

1. What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten? Ackee & Saltfish (Jamaican National Dish) Edit: Forgot that I've also had pickled cow tongue and escargot... guess I've blocked those from my memory.
2. If you could go back in time, when/where would you go? I have no idea... I love historical fiction novels, so I guess my first choice would be Italian Renaissance
3. Do you have any hidden talents? I can burp the ABC's
4. Do you know anyone in jail? Not currently
5. If you had to, what family member would you kill off and why? To make this harder, they have to be blood related, no IL's (or I have a feeling we all know who'd be the first to go!) This goes against my nature to even think like this... but I guess in case of a zombie attack, I would use my older brother as food. He's super intelligent but would be useless in an emergency situation.
6. How many of the US states (or Canadian provinces, for those north of the border) have you stepped foot in? 21 states and 1 province
7. Your house is on fire. Name the three things you take out with you (assume family members and pets are all safe). Phone and wallet... can't think of a 3rd thing. Our important documents are in a fireproof safe.
8. Do you have any phobias? arachnophobia, claustrophobia, pteromerhanophobia (fear of flying)
9. Where is your bloodline originally from? I'm a little bit of everything, Native American, Irish, and Dutch are a few that I know.
10. If you could redo one room in your home (not the nursery, that's too easy), which room would you do? My bedroom... it's blue and brown, but I'm ready to update!

2. If you could go back in time, when/where would you go? I would want to meet President Lincoln.
3. Do you have any hidden talents? None whatsoever.
4. Do you know anyone in jail? No but one time an ex-boyfriend went to jail. He was my high school sweetheart so I pined over him and wrote him all the time. One day I got a weird letter in the mail. It was from another inmate. My douche-y ex had sold my contact info to another dude for a pack of smokes.
5. If you had to, what family member would you kill off and why? N/A.
6. How many of the US states (or Canadian provinces, for those north of the border) have you stepped foot in? I have no idea! I think last I counted, ten or so.
7. Your house is on fire. Name the three things you take out with you (assume family members and pets are all safe). Laptop, mementos from my wedding and Lincoln's life.
8. Do you have any phobias? Insects and lizards.
9. Where is your bloodline originally from? Everywhere and anywhere. The most predominant is from Spain.
10. If you could redo one room in your home (not the nursery, that's too easy), which room would you do? I would re-do all walls in my home painted blue. I chose the two worst shades. Live and learn.

1 - Frog legs. Not good.

2 - 1920's Paris... like, in Midnight in Paris. I want to hang out with Hemingway.

3 - When not pregnant, I can hold some pretty crazy flexible yoga poses.

4 - Nope.

5 - Oh I couldn't.

8 - I can get a little claustrophobic.

9 - Italian descent

10 - At this point... the downstairs bathroom. We moved in a few years ago and have done a lot of work a little at a time and almost everything has been changed to where we are happy... but I'd make that 1/2 bath a full, put a vent in, change the floor, put in all new fixtures.

Unless I could do work outside as an option. I want a door out the back and a stone patio put in, then I'd make the side deck into a mudroom. I'd do that first.

5. If you had to, what family member would you kill off and why? To make this harder, they have to be blood related, no IL's (or I have a feeling we all know who'd be the first to go!) Hmmm...probably my dad. He has brought a lot of pain to a lot of people, myself included. And given that I haven't spoken to him in 15 years I wouldn't miss him being in my life.

6. How many of the US states (or Canadian provinces, for those north of the border) have you stepped foot in? 17 states

7. Your house is on fire. Name the three things you take out with you (assume family members and pets are all safe). Laptop (pics), phone (pics), and the pearl necklace DH gave me our first Christmas together, that I also wore at our wedding

8. Do you have any phobias? Bugs and snakes

9. Where is your bloodline originally from? My mom's family came over in the 1600's from England and ended up marrying several Cherokees and other Europeans along the way to me. No idea on dad's family, but my maiden name is German, so I'll assume they're from there!

10. If you could redo one room in your home (not the nursery, that's too easy), which room would you do? Our master bedroom/bathroom. Both need some serious overhauling that is probably not going to be done anytime in the near future.

1. What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten? Liver, not that weird, I guess.
2. If you could go back in time, when/where would you go? That's a good question. I'm not really sure. It would kind of be cool to go back to the Jurassic Era and see the dinosaurs in person. 3. Do you have any hidden talents? Not really, but I know a lot of science facts.
4. Do you know anyone in jail? no
5. If you had to, what family member would you kill off and why? My Dad. The older I get the more I realize how much of a selfish prick he really is. I had him on a really high pedestal growing up, and he has turned out to be nothing that I thought he was. 6.How many of the US states have you stepped foot in? I can only think of 13. Kind of lame.
7. Your house is on fire. Name the three things you take out with you? My grandmother's engagement ring, all of my important pics, and my iPad. 8. Do you have any phobias? I've talked about this before, but my irrational fear is of aliens. I also worry a lot about my husband and kids when they aren't around. 9. Where is your bloodline originally from? Ireland
10. If you could redo one room in your home (not the nursery, that's too easy), which room would you do? The basement to make it a playroom. It's pretty much a cellar though, and would be a ton of money to redo.

1. What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten? Razor clam sushi- it's still alive when you eat it.
2. If you could go back in time, when/where would you go? Not sure.
3. Do you have any hidden talents? I'm very good at deductive reasoning and silly knowledge, which makes me a whiz at jeopardy, but ask the questions in another way and I have no clue what the answer is.
4. Do you know anyone in jail? Many people, mainly family. Currently my cousin, brother, and bio-dad.
5. If you had to, what family member would you kill off and why? My step-dad. He's just a bad bad guy.
6. How many of the US states (or Canadian provinces, for those north of the border) have you stepped foot in? 21 states, 2 US territories, and I think 2 Canadian provinces.
7. Your house is on fire. Name the three things you take with you. Purse, iPad, fireproof safe.
8. Do you have any phobias? Birds and heights.
9. Where is your bloodline originally from? Germany and Sweden. Dad's side- unknown
10. If you could redo one room in your home (not the nursery, that's too easy), which room would you do? My bedroom. In my house in PA I'd remodel to include an en suite. My rental in GA I'd just like a serene room to hideaway in.

2. If you could go back in time, when/where would you go? Medieval times!

3. Do you have any hidden talents? Not really. I'm boring.

5. If you had to, what family member would you kill off and why? To make this harder, they have to be blood related, no IL's. Honestly, no one in my immediate family! I have a great relationship with my parents and 2 brothers.

6. How many of the US states (or Canadian provinces, for those north of the border) have you stepped foot in? Ahhh lets see...At least 30. We did lots of road trips as a kid.

7. Your house is on fire. Name the three things you take out with you. My photo albums. (I'll count that as one whole.) My camera. All my handmade heirloom quilts.

8. Do you have any phobias? I really don't like bugs and I am terrified of feeling a fish brush against me while swimming in the ocean/lake.

10. If you could redo one room in your home (not the nursery, that's too easy), which room would you do? I like all our rooms as they are now. But I would love a gorgeous bed frame. We just have a simple one now with no headboard.

Snapping turtle. My dad is kind of a redneck and if he finds one we eat it.

2. If you could go back in time, when/where would you go?

I would go back to when I got my first BFP and leave right then and there and never look back.

I can kind of move my eyes different directions at the same time, but that's it. I'm kind of lame.

I work with law enforcement so I kind of "know" everyone in jail lol. Do I personally know anyone? No.

5. If you had to, what family member would you kill off and why? To make this harder, they have to be blood related, no IL's (or I have a feeling we all know who'd be the first to go!) The only one I can think of is already dead. Karma got him in the end.

Oh geez, have to guess....18? My dad was in the military and we would drive to see family from wherever we were living, so mostly drove through a bunch of states and visited landmarks.

7. Your house is on fire. Name the three things you take out with you (assume family members and pets are all safe). My daughter's stuffed cow and pink kitty, box of baby mementos, and my guns (some are family heirlooms) Everything else can probably be replaced.

Kitchen. I painted it years ago and did a horrible job, and have been so angry about it that I have yet to fix it.

3. Do you have any hidden talents? Nope, I was in Chorus for years, but hate my voice.

There's so much I'd like to see. At this moment though, feeling sentimental, I'd like to go back to when I was just born and watch my mom try out the whole first time parent thing! And then when I came back I could tell her "HA you didn't know it all then didya ma?!" :P

Oy! I don't really have anyone. My family is all pretty cool.

A pretty lame amount, maybe only 7 or 8. To be fair, I think it's harder to state hop on the west coast.

Not phobias, but I do find myself getting more fearful of heights the older I get.

2. If you could go back in time, when/where would you go? I would go back to see my brother and spend as much time as I could with him.
3. Do you have any hidden talents? I am far more musically inclined than people know.
4. Do you know anyone in jail? I think everyone is out now...

My little sister... just read my stabby post. Normally my brother though... because he is worst than she is. WTF... how are you 2 so entitled?!

1. What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten? I've eaten some weird animals. Alligator, turtle, kangaroo, and emu come to mind.
2. If you could go back in time, when/where would you go? Probably the 60s/70s to see my mom and dad in their hippie/young adult days.
3. Do you have any hidden talents? I can touch my tongue to my nose and can turn my tongue completely upside down in my mouth. My tongue is pretty much the only flexible part of my body.
4. Do you know anyone in jail? Nope.
5. If you had to, what family member would you kill off and why? To make this harder, they have to be blood related, no IL's (or I have a feeling we all know who'd be the first to go!) I have an uncle who's pretty pathetic. No one is so horrible that I would wish death on them, though.

8. Do you have any phobias? I have severe arachnipodia (fear of spiders, misspelled).
9. Where is your bloodline originally from? Polish, Italian, English, Irish, and Scottish.
10. If you could redo one room in your home (not the nursery, that's too easy), which room would you do? Our kitchen is terribly set up, and has no storage space what-so-ever. I'd love to put some work into it, but we rent the house and will probably only be here for another year or so, so there's no point in wasting the time and $$.

1. What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten? Horse. It used to be a fairly common deli meat among the Dutch, so my grandparents had it on a fairly regular basis. Not sure if they still do. I think it's become more difficult to get.
2. If you could go back in time, when/where would you go? Hmm. I don't know if I would. Can I go to the future instead?
3. Do you have any hidden talents? I can find things. I think it's because I have a very good visual memory, hand in hand with a strong sense of logic and the ability to make connections quickly. I goes really well with my husband's ability to lose things.
4. Do you know anyone in jail? No. Not that I know of.
5. If you had to, what family member would you kill off and why? To make this harder, they have to be blood related, no IL's (or I have a feeling we all know who'd be the first to go!) I have least favourite relatives, but there's none I actually want to kill off.

How many of the US states (or Canadian provinces, for those north of the border) have you stepped foot in? 7 provinces - Alberta, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, PEI. 12 states - Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Indiana, California, Nevada, Arizona, Florida, New York
7. Your house is on fire. Name the three things you take out with you (assume family members and pets are all safe). Well, we have three computers. I'd probably grab two of them and the box of files that contains our birth certificates and passports.
8. Do you have any phobias? None.
9. Where is your bloodline originally from? The Netherlands. Also, maybe with a little French thrown in? My family is slightly shorter and darker than your typical Dutch, so we wonder if we may have some of the exiled Huguenots in our family history somewhere.
10. If you could redo one room in your home (not the nursery, that's too easy), which room would you do? We're working on it. We've redone every room in our house, with the exception of the basement rooms, and we rent those out, so... Can we add some rooms to our house instead?

1. What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten? I'm not very adventurous when it comes to food but I did try some haggis and black pudding when I was in Scotland. Never again.
2. If you could go back in time, when/where would you go? There are so many time periods I would love to go back an experience; Rome during the height of the Roman empire, Renaissance Era Italy, and Victorian Era England would probably be my top 3.
3. Do you have any hidden talents? Nope. I'm really not the most talented of people
4. Do you know anyone in jail? Nope, but one of DH's high school classmates (voted nicest in class) is serving a life sentence in prison for a murder he committed his senior year of high school.
5. If you had to, what family member would you kill off and why? Well I do have a cousin who give me major creepy crawlies...
6. How many of the US states (or Canadian provinces, for those north of the border) have you stepped foot in? Probably about 40 states.
7. Your house is on fire. Name the three things you take out with you (assume family members and pets are all safe). As many family pictures as I could grab, my wedding dress, DD's baptism gown (My mother made it and I hope someday it will turn into a family heirloom).
8. Do you have any phobias? Being trapped in an elevator. Also cruise ships. I'm terrified of ever going on a cruise because I'm afraid it will sink or capsize or something.
9. Where is your bloodline originally from? Germany 100% from both side of my family.
10. If you could redo one room in your home (not the nursery, that's too easy), which room would you do? Kitchen. We just bought a house but I am really not a fan of the builder grade cabinets, the color of the cabinets, or the granite countertops (I'd prefer quartz).
