I have had a horrible headache every day for the last week. Sunday it was so bad that I couldn't open my eyes or move for 4 hrs. Tylenol barely does anything and I don't want to take anything else because I'm BF.

The last 2 days I have been extremely nauseous and have had the chills and sweats on and off. Those symptoms only occur at night when I have a headache. I'm drinking 80 - 90 oz of water a day.

Anyone else experiencing this? I'm 4 weeks 4 days postpartum and did have an epidural. TIA

    No I haven't had a migraine before and rarely got headaches in the past

    You can take ibuprofen/Advil/Motrin. BF friendly and works way better than Tylenol.

    I agree you need to get checked ASAP. If you are someone that typically doesn't get headaches/migraines that would be enough to warrant a call to the dr. Since you have other sysmptoms too, I would be calling L&D or if your dr has an after hours line ASAP. You definitely could be having bp issues or even pp pre-e.

    This happened to me after DD. I would get a migraine every day at the same time of day complete with all of your symptoms. Postpartum migraines was my diagnosis and I was given a prescription for migraine meds. I'd call just to let them know what's going on.

    I swear I had this at 3.5-4 weeks! Nothing helped. Then it just went away but I'm also noticing a lot of my other pp symptoms have vanished (no more night sweats!) so I'm pretty sure it was one last burst of hormone regulation.

    I called the nurse line yesterday and they said up water intake and try to rest more (haha I wish) I did drink 120 oz of water but still got a headache.

    I left a message with my regular Dr so I am hoping to get a call back tomorrow. Thank you everyone
