bouncer seats

My LO hasn't physically outgrown his bouncer seat, but he no longer seems content in it. He tries to sit up in it and ends up slumped over to one side and then gets frustrated. I think it's time to put it away.

Anyone else graduate their LOs out of the bouncer?

Our bouncer reclines so that it is basically flat or up to a semi-seated position. She hates it when it is semi-seated now because she wants to sit all the way up. She just kind of struggles and falls over. But...if we recline it all the way she still really enjoys it for naps.

DS tries to sit up every time I put him in it and I am terrified he will roll right of it. He started doing that with swing too lately. I think I am going to pack both away this weekend. I am actually excited to clear up some space.

@barista411 Yeah, I definitely have to strap him into it otherwise he would probably roll right out. When he was a newborn I never had to worry about that.

@dobrydney I could see him still being happy in it if ours reclined, but bummer, it doesn't.

I think I'll be packing it away this weekend! Glad I didn't spend much on it (bought it on Craigslist) since we only used it a couple months.

DH and I were just talking about this. She's getting too big for both her bouncer and her swing - but she loves both! She happily sits in her bounce while I work. I really don't know what we're going to do when she gets too big for it

This is us too. He still naps reclined. We have the Graco Elite 2 in 1, so this is our swing too. L likes to swing and play with toys in it.

Neva just tries to sit up in hers now. She used to love it and be entertained for up to half an hour, but now it's only a couple minutes. We already packed up her swing because she never really liked it at all.

I think I'll die when Mason no longer fits in his bouncy seat. It's the seat off of his swing. He's never much cared for the swing but the seat is the only place I can get him to nap.
