    Today my hands and feet have been unusually swollen... but yesterday at the dr they said I had gained 3 1/2lbs since last week.... I had only been gaining 1- 1 1/2 every week so I'm assuming some of that gain is fluid retention. About how much is normal weight gain in a week for you ladies?

    FFFF:
    1) LO's room is finally coming together. Dh put her crib together last night and we've washed and put away most of her clothes.

    2) The Dr prescribed prevacid for my heartburn... it's ahhhhhmazing. I thought I was going to go crazy if I had to go another night with that horrible horrible heartburn

    3) My s.i.l. brought me a strawberry snow cone (shaved ice) yesterday. It was just what I had been wanting. So good!!

    4) Dh has been watching YouTube videos trying to learn how to hardwire a little chandelier in LO's room. He's determined to do it himself. I hope he doesn't electrocute himself or worse, burn down our house!!!

    5) My nephew turns 3 next week, but I told him I probably wouldn't be able to go to his bday party (because it's out of town at a pizza place that is sure to be packed with crazy hyped up kids and frantic adults lol) he looked so concerned and asked "why you av go to doctor" lol sometimes it surprises you how much kids really do pick up on.

    @tracint, my weight gain has picked up too, it was like 05.-1 lbs a week now it's more like 2. Whatever, not too much time left!

    Nothing new to report here... officially 4 weeks more pregnant than I've ever been. I have noticed that his movements have changed some. There more subtle but somehow more painful!

    QOTD:
    1. Put together the rocker/recliner last night so we're officially all set for the nursery.
    2. We're going to make a big portion of crockpot pork tomorrow and bring some to church friends who just had a baby... lots of people have helped us out so it's nice to turn the tables!
    3. I think I may make church my outing on Sunday... I'm excited!
    4. It's beautiful weather here in Cali- I think I may read/bump outside for a while and soak up some rays.
    5. My BFF brought home her termie yesterday. So excited for her and really hoping to get that experience this time around! She called me in the middle of the night because he wouldn't settle- her milk came in this am so I think he was on a feeding frenzy. Made me realize that I would happily stay up all night MANY nights in a row with a newborn rather than spend one night waking up every 3 hours to pump- yuck!

    We have yearly passes to the local zoo, so DH pushed me around in a wheelchair so I could get out and enjoy this beautiful day. People gave us some looks, but I didn't care. It was nice to get out of the house and do something fun for once.

    FFFF:
    1) DH and I discussed today, I really don't enjoy being pregnant. I would take the crazy newborn days over the worry or having a preterm baby.

    2) DH and I are planners. The previous weekend we had just finished moving DS to his big boy room and pulling out all of the baby's clothes. Washing all the baby clothes and putting them away. Just in the nick of time.

    3) DH has been amazing through my bedrest ordeal with DS #1 and now DS #2. I have no idea how I would survive any of this without him.

    4) I'm glad I didn't invest a lot of money in maternity clothes this time around. Seeing as how I hangout in sweatpants and t shirts all day. Now come to think of it, that's probably why I didn't have a lot from my first pregnancy.

    5) I get really annoyed when we tell people we are having another boy that they automatically assume we will try for a girl. No thank you very much. Two high risk pregnancies are enough for us. Plus we would probably wind up with 3 boys. DH or I are getting snipped/fixed later this year. Were definitely done.

    DS #1 born January 2010. DS #2 due June 2014.

    So with you on this one!!! I'm very happy about 2 boys. Many years down the line we may foster or adopt, but for now my family is complete!

    Yes we may adopt down the line. But having two boys right now is perfectly fine with me.

    DS #1 born January 2010. DS #2 due June 2014.

    Nothing new here. 

    QOTD:

    1.  My parents were out this past weekend and helped dh move the furniture around between what was the guest room and my office, turning them into the guest room/office and baby's room. They also set up the crib. I really wish I had been able to help out so that I could have been cleaning out closets and actually setting stuff up and getting the dresser and shelves I want from IKEA and finding a chair. Those things will have to wait, but I just keep worrying about how in the world I am going to get this other stuff done WITH a newborn.

    2. Dh is going to take me out to dinner this weekend. Yay for outings. 

    3.  I really am missing my sister as she is currently living in Vienna, Austria and she left about a week before I found out I was pregnant. We dot extra a lot and skype occasionally, but it's not the same as her being here. 

    4.  I might actually gat a small shower. For several years, I had a group of friends that I was really close with.  We always managed to get together at least monthly for a wine group.  But as people got married, had kids, moved, etc., we sort of drifted apart and we now only see each other maybe once or twice a year.  They have offered to throw me a shower. Nothing is in stone yet, but it would be nice to see everyone's nod get together.

    5.  It is nice outside right now, so I am sitting out on the front porch waiting for my dh to get home. It is amazing what a little sunshine and warmth can do for my mood. I am definitely a summer girl (and am planning to teach baby the joys of sun and summer too).

    Completely agree on this one.  I've still bought a few extra yoga pants and cute tees, just for some comfort and to help me feel better (and I think these things are in fits/styles that I'll be able to wear after baby comes too for a while).  But I haven't bought as much as I otherwise would have, and many of my day to day things were hand me downs from a friend which when I first got the box I thought that I probably wouldn't wear too much of it as they were older tees, but now I am super greatful.
