Has it been generally true for you that if your baby moved a lot in utero, they were also active babies who maybe didn't sleep as much? This kid is moving way more than Robert did and it's making me nervous. Plus, he feels huge, like all over my belly at once, and kind of makes me sea sick.

Well I had two so I constantly felt movement during the day. I'm not sure I could really distinguish who was moving when, but it'd be interesting to know since I've definitely got a hyper one and a "calmer" one. They never bothered me at night in utero though, and they have been great night sleepers :: knocking on all the wood I can find ::
Emery didn't move a whole lot in utero, but boy she never slept when she got here. She was either crying or just awake.

Dagny was pretty active in utero - she's not the best sleeper in the world but she's nothing compared to some of the ladies here! She was down to 1 wake up per night by 5/6 months and then started STTN after I stopped BFing at 13M. She has never been a great napper though.
I am feeling encouraged. Robert is pretty active now, but wasn't very active as a baby. He has always been a good night sleeper, but didn't get good at naps until 8 months or so. Now he is a great napper too, at least 2 hours, usually more. I'm really terrified of getting a bad sleeper after having a good sleeper.

I was wondering the same thing! Z was a lazy baby and this one seems like he is doing gymnastics constantly in my uterus. Z is a bad sleeper and as far as being active during the day, I think he is just as active as any toddler. If there is a correlation, we are NEVER sleeping again!
Nope, Austin was CRAZY in my stomach but he has always been a good sleeper. Now during the day he is 100% clinically nuts, but he goes down and sleeps well.
