Did anyone take DHEA or CoQ10 supplements for IVF embryo quality with DOR?

Did anyone take DHEA or CoQ10 supplements for IVF embryo quality with DOR?

Did you see any improvement in embryo quality?

Did your IVF cycle work?

My RE suggested it this time with also EPP/Antagonist.

Day 6 Report to Blast for CCS 4/16: 2 DAY 5 BLASTS BIOPSIED FOR CCS a 4AB and a 3AB!!!!
CCS Results BOTH BLASTS CCS NORMAL!!!!!!  call on 4/24
Regroup call to discuss CCS results and FET call on 5/20
FET prep: CD 1 6/08 CD 3 Start BCP 6/10, HSG 6/12 Lupron Start 10 iu 6/17 End BCP 6/21 CD 1 6/23!!!

    I was on DHEA when I got my surprise bfp. Who knows if it helped then or not. I was then on that and coq10 for my last IVF cycle. I had a better response initially but barely made it to retrieval and then only had one not great embie in the end. My understanding is for it to work you should be on the DHEA for 3-4 months prior to cycling. GL.

    Eta: my first IVF cycle was cancelled due to poor response. I wasn't on either at that time.

    I took DHEA and a swag of other supplements for IVF #2 and the results were far better (see siggy). But you need compounded DHEA and take it for 3+ months. I did it for close to 4 months. GL!!

    Multiple ectopics, 2 failed IVF's
    IVF #1: Did not get to ET, embies all failed PGD (major chromosomal defects)
    IVF #2: We have 2 chromosomally perfect embies as a result of PGD (Boy/Girl) 1 failed the thaw (Girl) Transferred 1, yet ended as a c/p
    Thought it was the end of our TTC Journey 6/20/2012
    SHOCK BFP 9/28/2012: IT'S A BOY! and everything is normal !!!!!!

    Little A born 38w 2d on 05/23/13 and is a true miracle for this IF Vet!

    Also my understanding is that the DHEA helps your embryo quality. The coq10 helps your future child's potential fertility if they are a girl.

    Yes- i took coq10 after first cycle failed. AMH was 0.43. The second cycle worked with a trnsfer of a 4 cell, 5 cell and 6 cell on day 3. One split and I have 9 week old ID boys. First failed ivf was microdose lupron and second successful was antagonist. Good luck!
    Me (37) DH (39); PCOS changed to Unexplained, changed to DOR in 2012 (finally a correct diagnosis!); 
    Started TTC 2009 with RE after 6 months.  
    Clomid + Trigger x2; 
    IUI + Femara x1,
    IUI + Follistim x2;
    IVF #1 (MDL) February 2013- BFN.
    IVF #2 (antagonist) May 2013, First BFP of my life. 
    Identical twin miracle BOYS (!!) headed our way- due date is technically 2/4/14 but c section is scheduled for 1/7!

    I took coq10 and royal jelly for my last two ivfs. I don't have DOR, but you can see my numbers were much higher and great quality. Both times I took for 2-3 months prior. I took high doses too. Good luck, I don't know anything about DHEA.

    I took coq10 along with a bunch of other supplements and Chinese herbs (and did weekly acupuncture treatments) my last pregnancy and it was unassisted (I also had the DOR dx). Good luck to you!

    I took it for my last 3 cycles.  (had 5 total)  My 3rd cycle I had the best response and did get pregnant.  Loss at 9 weeks.  4th cycle was a bust and my 5th cycle they only got one egg, but that one egg fertilized and stuck around.  I will start taking it when I wean LO.

    11/13 beta #1  924!!!  2nd bet 11/15 1906, one more on 11/17 3rd & final beta 3430.  First u/s 12/5, 7w4d, 2 heartbeats,
    both measuring right on track....2nd u/s... all is well... both beans measuring right on track... released from RE... first
    appointment with MFM 1/5.  Looks like this is really happening!

    I am on both currently and we are doing IVF #5 in June - I am ok our only issue is severe MFI but my RE suggested with this cycle taking 75mg of DHEA and 600 of COQ10 daily to improve our chances
