I would be torn, honestly. It would be great to have a boy for one of each and continue DH's last name, but I love the idea of two girls who could eventually be friends.
Which is really funny because when I was pregnant with DD I was KNEW she was a girl from day 1 but wanted a boy so badly I kept calling her by our boy name and even bought boy stuff before our anatomy scan. Now I can't even imagine having a little boy.
I would definitely pick girl! But at the same time would not know what to do with her if she was all girly girly. I was never the pink frilly type and not into fashion and make up. I am envisioning a mini me who I could hang with. I used to pretend barbie was a career woman and was busy at the office while my sister combed her hair...lol....but still I pick girl ....or a dog!
Girl. And I would put her in all the 'boy' things. It's not like she would know.
Agree! When I was pregnant with DS I did not know the sex and had loads of blue stuff, just because I liked it. I don't think girls need to be decked in pink....and DS even had a few pink shirts "gasp"

I don't think they have to be "decked" in one color or another but IDK how a girl would feel wearing a hand-me-down "mommy's little handy man" shirt KWIM?

To be PC, but she coul wear pink or purple if she wanted to ...LOL

I totally said this, and then DD came out and lost most of her hair. People automatically assumed that she was a boy, like that is the default sex or something, so we started dressing her in pink and sparkles (I secretly loved it while the feminist inside me was secretly dying). Even though she looks more girlish now, she almost always has some pink on.

I actually DO like them for kiddos. I would probably get DD a pair if they weren't so frigging expensive for what they actually are. Also I like Crocs for kids (which are also on my personal donotwear list).

if dd was any younger than she is right now, I'd definitely say girl because I'm terrified of a smaller age gap between an older sister and younger brother. but since she'd be over 3 yo when the baby is born should I get pregnant now, I would have to say.... I guess I really don't care. I would absolutely love a mini-dh, but I would absolutely love sisters.
A girl. I have 4 nieces and a daughter. I know girls. I would have no clue what to do with a boy...LOL.
I felt like that when I had DS, all sisters, neices, etc but it worked ok....except the whole mechanics of the penis thing....that still throws me off. Lol. Other than that kids are kids .
No idea. I already have a boy and I am generally all about variety and new experiences, so that would imply girl. But they're just so much more work. And I'm very lazy.

All of this exactly, except I would choose boy. His name would be Theodore Rex

Ok. I will admit I love these!!
FFFC- I wanted a healthy baby. But I really, really, really wanted a girl. And I'd want another. I don't really want another, but hypothetically.
