scooting on her butt!

Dd has no ambition to crawl. She's 9 months old & scoots around on her butt. Its cute!! She can move around a lot!!! She gets whatever she wants that way. When she does get on all 4s she rocks back & forth & usually goes backwards and gets really mad.
Does anybody else's baby scoot or do anything cute like that?

    My dd started rocking on all 4's first then within about a month was full on crawling. Now she is on the verge of walking and just started this scooting thing too! weird. It's actually pretty funny when she does it.

    DD started walking the first week in February and has now begun taking off in a run whenever she gets excited about something, which usually leads to her falling down because she isn't balanced enough to full out run yet.

    She also does this thing where she'll bounce up and down on her bum on the bottom step.  I don't understand why she does it - DH asked if it meant her bum itched or something??

    DD (10 months) scoots, and she is fast! She does keep leaning forward like she might try to crawl, but has never got up on all 4s and rocked. She is just starting to pull up and has managed to get all the way to her feet a couple times. I will confess I feel a little worried as it seems all the babies in her birth group are crawling, cruising and walking...,

    Our daughter is a week shy of 11 months and doesn't crawl and has zero interest in it.  We can even get her on all fours.  She scoots all over the room on her butt though!  She LOVES to walk along the furniture though.  She doesn't want to sit a whole lot anymore unless she is scooting on her butt.
