Funny pumping story

I pump a few times per day at work at my desk. I always use the time to do emails or phone calls. If it's calls I wear a headset so I can also type notes. Many times I call my (male) business partner at his extension and we talk shop while I'm pumping. The pump is in my desk drawer and I push it mostly closed with the tubes sneaking out.

Yesterday I was on the phone with a sales rep and she said "Hey! Do you have a massage chair going over there?" I froze and said "You can hear that!?" She said "Oh yeah my coworker has one so I recognize the sound. They're awesome!" I didn't correct her! I just laughed awkwardly. Later I asked my partner if he can hear the pump when I call him and he said "Oh yeah for sure. But don't worry clients have no idea what's going on." Ugh!! (:|

ETA: That's supposed to be an embarrassed face but it may be yawning now that I look at it again.

Re: Funny pumping story

  • You are braver than me, I would never talk on the phone while pumping. I would be too stressed to relax and pump.

It actually really helps me take my mind off the pumping and the time flies by! Otherwise I focus too much on how much I'm producing and get really tense.
