2 years ago I miscarried at 8 weeks. Last year I lost a babyat 23 weeks to Trisomy 18. I'm 10 weeks pregnant now and I'm nervous. Has anyone else had anything like this happen to them? I'm only 22!
I had a silent misscarriage at 8 weeks last year. After testing we found out she had Trisomy 18. And surprise we are here again and I am 17 weeks with a very healthy little girl. I am 42. I hope everything goes great this time.
I lost my little girl to Trisomy 18 this past July, I was 26 weeks pregnant. We found out that she had a SUV and cyst in her brain at our 20 weeks ultrasound. We were to recheck them at 28 weeks, but we didn't make it that far.
My DS is a super healthy boy who is now 2 and was my first pregnancy at 34. Then our little angel (I was 35) and I am now pregnant again with # 3 a boy.
We elected to not do any testing while pregnant for any of our pregnancies. My DH and I felt that we were only going to do the anatomy scans and that was it. Even if I knew ahead of time, I don't think I could terminate this late, so we choose not to stress about it and hope that all is OK. Today I am pregnant with my third baby and I love it very much!! My anatomy scan is in 2 weeks and I am scared but also hoping for all good news this time!!
Good luck and hope all goes well!!

Both of my missed miscarriages were due to trisomies (10 and 14). I am hoping our "luck" turns around with this pregnancy, because both were classified as "flukes". I hope this is your take home baby
Thank you to everyone who posted. It's a little relieving to know that there are others in the same boat, although it is unfortunate. It is even better to know that a lot of you went on the have healthy pregnancies! Thank you and good luck to everyone! Your words have been helpful!
I took the Maternit21 test at 16 weeks and came back positive for Trisomy 18. Had an amino on this past Tuesday and waiting the 10 days for results. Anyone with experience with Maternit21 false positive results? Is there any hope for my baby girl?
I lost a little girl to trisomy 13 last August, and a chemical pregnancy in November. This baby due September is perfectly healthy. We had the NT and Harmony test done it really eased my mind.
I am so sorry but congrats on your pregnancy. We also lost a baby girl to a trisomy in the second trimester. I am terrified of it happening again even though I know the chances are slim. Seeing a heartbeat is a wonderful sign but getting to the anatomy scan and seeing a healthy baby will be huge.
We didn't get the bloodwork tests done with our daughter but even then I am not sure if it would have picked up her trisomy as it is very rare.
Sending you lots of positive thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry. I don't have any experience with the Maternit21 but have had an amnio done. I know the waiting is so hard. I am thinking of you and your sweet girl.
We lost our little girl from Trisomy 18 at 1 month old in May 2014(she was born 6 weeks early as well). We felt lucky to have a month with her, but it is extremely difficult to lose a child. It is both sad a comforting to know other couples who have gone through loss. We are now 18 weeks with our second little one. Appointments have been good so far, but we go for our anatomy scan next week. I am trying to stay positive, but I am also terrified at the same time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
