A/S results - low placenta + measuring 10 days ahead??

My MW went over my ultrasound results from the other week, and she said my placenta was low, but not 'super' low, and she didn't seem worried about it - I've had no bleeding at all, and she didn't give me any restrictions like no sex/exercise - I get another US next month to check on it.

I'm not worried, but it seems per other threads on TB about this, women were given restrictions and/or to expect bleeding, and that's not my case?

She also said I'm measuring 10 days ahead - I was sure of the dates of my last AF (10/18), so she said if I'm sure of my dates, she won't changed my EDD.

So if my EDD isn't changed and I'm measuring 10 days ahead, what does that mean?

Also, I had to do labs, and I dropped my pee cup on the bathroom room and pee got everywhere. I'll never master the clean stream!

1. There is a difference between a previa and a low lying placenta. Women with previas get restrictions. You could call to clarify that you don't have a previa, but I think you're probably okay.

2. Measurements at this point aren't very accurate. I'd go with your original EDD and assume it means nothing. Baby could have just had a growth spurt and could measure right on track next time.

@Str31 some providers are more conservative than others. I had a low lying placenta until my AS and was never given any restrictions.

She didn't mention the word previa at all, just said my placenta was low.

I didn't even think about coorelating induction with moving up an EDD, so I'm glad she kept it at 7/25 for right now!
