Okay, I knowwww I'm in bumpie trouble but I've been so busy!!! Swearsies. DH and I decided to move to NY to be closer to my family. We thought it would be good for the boys to grow up around their grandparents. So far so good! And being so close to my parents hasn't caused me to drive off a cliff...yet.
We've been trying to get to know the area..when we can, in between blizzards and we FINALLY have everything unpacked. DH is back to work this week and things are finally back to "normal".
Glad to have my bump time back! I've missed you guysssss!

Yeah, it's pretty fantastic. And of course, we have the added bonus of being one of the epicenters of fashion, so you eat all this amazing food, and then see all these stick thin women walking around. It's great for one's self-esteem, let me tell you :-)
I'm not in the city proper, so it's easier for me to avoid the good food. But when DH lived in the city and I would visit him before we were married, it was bad :-)

I'm originally from LOng Island but have lived in the city the last 15 years. The food really is ridiculously good.
