Announcing at work

Well ladies, I need your advice. My DH and I made our big announce christmas morning to our parents and some friends, talk about a wonderful experience!! Anyways, I was going to wait to tell my co-workers until I am a bit farther along, well I can't because the news it spreading like a bad wild fire. I work at a family practice clinic, where I will be doing my OB care also. How do I make this announce to my co-workers and the Dr. I work for? I am really nervous and truthfully I don't know why.

    I think you shouldn't worry about what people hear through gossip or what people suspect. Tell when you're comfortable and ready. If they say they already knew or thought you might be, oh well.

    I agree w/ PP- I wouldn't let myself be forced into telling just b/c of gossip. Tell whenever you feel like you're ready. We went ahead and told our family for Christmas, and I'll tell my co-workers sometime after the holidays. We're more comfortable w/ telling earlier this time. GL- it's nerve wracking telling co-workers, especially bosses, but I'm sure they'll be so excited for you. That's funny you work at the practice where you'll be going!
