How are you feeling? (Physically and emotionally) Pregnancy wise, ok. I'm dragging tail today. Spring allergies are flaring up I think.
Any appointments, ultrasounds, or milestones this week? No appointments until next week.
What else is going on? Apples and Onions? Apples: Hitting 30 weeks. Not sure why, but that is a significant milestone for me. Onions: I feel like we still have so much to do to prepare and I get stressed out, but then I worry that I'm spending TOO much time preparing for childbirth and not thinking enough about the decisions we need to make about child-care and child-rearing philosophies. I just feel unprepared to parent all the way around.
GTKY: What make and model was your first car? Remember I'm old... an 87 Plymouth Sundance. It is the car that made me swear to never own a Dodge product again!

3rd BFP-5/22/13! By early June, progesterone plummeting. Another loss.
August 2013 - started Donor Egg process, but surprise BFP with my own eggs.

How are you feeling? (Physically and emotionally) Emotionally, I'm feeling great this week. Yesterday I had my "shit just got real" moment and it really hit me that pretty soon we will have another little boy living in our house. Physically, the heartburn has been so bad but yesterday I bought Gaviscon and let me just tell you that it works miracles.
Any appointments, ultrasounds, or milestones this week? Yesterday I had my final u/s to check cervical length and growth and it went extremely well. I'm feeling so grateful. My baby boy is estimated to weigh 4 lbs and is in the 72nd percentile. Next week I start weekly BPP testing and NST's, from here on out.
What else is going on? Apples and Onions? Apples: I got my annual bonus at work yesterday. Time to buy myself something nice! The rest gets saved for while I'm on maternity leave. Onions: I wish I could sleep. I haven't been sleeping well at all and I'm just so tired this week.

How are you feeling? (Physically and emotionally) Took the doggy out for a walk yesterday since it was gorgeous finally, really got my spirits up for warm weather coming soon. But I don't think it helped my back

What else is going on? Apples and Onions? Apples: hoping this blast of cold air/bad weather weather we are getting tomorrow is the last of winter and it just gets warmer from here. Onions: workman's comp dropped my case. They won't do anything else (no Dr appts, nothing) until after baby is here. So everyday I just get to feel worse and worse and have yet another reason to look forward to this LO making her appearance.

How are you feeling? (Physically and emotionally)
Physically- I hurt. My hips ribs back knees feet ankles head neck sides pretty much you name it it hurts. Baby still likes to lay transverse even though there is no room that way anymore and it is excruciating.
Emotionally- not really sure right now. My marriage may end today or MH may finally grow up and be a man. Just kind of trying to stay numb right now. Babywise excited to have her here but scared and unprepared.

Apples- baby's still going strong
Onions-just more of MHs drug shit feel free to skip. This one is going to be especially long. He had swore he'd be done by March of course another lie. Lately he has cut back to just doing it during the work week and being sober on the weekend while we work around the property though he was always very cranky and I could tell he wanted that shit so bad. Sat we were building a chicken coop and his old coworker (same one that got him on the shit) stopped by. He has quit drugs and I wasn't really able to help with the top of the coop so I let him stay and help. After the sun set I let them get beer and told MH only a couple. I ended up doing all the evening chores and having to sit inside while dinner cooked alone while he drank outside then his friend had to leave for a min to get cigs. I kept telling him to come in while he was gone but he sat outside on the phone with his dad drinking. Eventually (hr or so later) kid came back got his beer and left. I finally got MH to come in and by that time he was drunk. He told me not to be mad that he smoked and I was like are you fucking kidding??? Drinking and doing drugs?? He told me about how his dad asked if he was happy with how his life is (doesn't know about the drugs or any other problems) and he said he was (with a big stupid giddy grin). At this point I couldn't stop the tears and asked him how he could be happy treating his 7 month preg wife like absolute shit. I told him i was beyond miserable and could not do this anymore. I told him it was time to choose. The drugs. Or your family. I told him if he ever touched drugs again the rest of his life we were through. Come mon after work he had smoked again. I asked if that meant he was through with me and he claimed he didnt remember the convo on sat. I told him this was his absolute last chance quit drugs or we're done. Yesterday i took a shower and guess the baby didnt like the combo of me bending a lot and the hot water cause she went transverse and dug her head so hard into my right side it left me in horrible pain. I was still laying on the bed in pain when he got home fucked up and i told him to pack his shit and get out. He refused and then proceeded to just watch while i did all the evening chores still in severe pain. After i sat down he was all pissy and saying he wasnt leaving til he had a working vehicle in his name (i own all the vehicles) I told him I'd drop him off at a coworkers but he still refused. After sitting there in silence forever he finally asked if he could leave and come back after he sobered up. I asked him oh like i told you to do 2 months ago!? I thought about it for about 15 more mins and of course gave him yet one more chance. He went to his coworkers last night and swears he'll come home sober tonight. He said he'll come home sober or not at all so all i can do is wait and pray that the man i love finally comes home after 3.5 months of horrible heartache. Again sorry for using this checkin for bitching about my husbands problem and thank you to anyone who actually read that.

2000 Ford F-150 shes not doing so good these days and is only an extended cab so it's hard to get a carseat in the back so i will be truck shopping here soon for a crew cab.
How are you feeling? (Physically and emotionally) Tired and all stuffy. Stupid spring cold, I managed to survive winter without catching one!
Any appointments, ultrasounds, or milestones this week? I had a NST on Monday. I can still hear the skipped heartbeats on the machine, they were pretty clear. Baby slept for 45 mins of the hour that I was hooked up. Also showed some minor contractions on the readout.

Apples: My father was here for the last 2 days. It was awesome to get to spend some time with him. He is clearly excited about his first grandchild and was wearing a shit-eating grin for most of the visit
Onions: I have had our finances on lockdown for quite some time to ensure we were set up well for the baby. One thing that we had decided to splurge on for the nursery were the wall decals. I ordered about $300 worth of decals from a vendor on Etsy. Well, items have yet to arrive and the vendor is ignoring my requests for tracking information. There are several review posts from other buyers who ordered around the same time, all experiencing the exact same BS.
GTKY: What make and model was your first car? It was a 2003 Pontiac Vibe that I got the summer before I was going into my second year of university. She was red.

How are you feeling? (Physically and emotionally) Add me to the list of the sucky spring cold!!! I've had a sore throat for a few days that just turned into stuffiness and post-nasal-drip this morning. Joy! That and the sudden changes in the weather, I'm just a mess. Emotionally I feel good!
Any appointments, ultrasounds, or milestones this week? Had a growth scan yesterday after my doc commented on my low fundal height at Friday's appt. Baby girl is in fact measuring AHEAD! I'm averaging just shy of 34 weeks on the measurements, and estimated that she weights about 4lbs, 8 oz! Fluid levels are also great, so I'm happy. Guess I'm just all baby, and I'm ok with that! Next regular appt is next Friday.
What else is going on? Apples and Onions? Apple: Good news at my growth scan, and even got to see her face and hair! (yep, looks like a full head which explains the GERD, hehe) Onion: This damn cold is really kicking my butt and making me more tired and non-productive than I already am.
GTKY: What make and model was your first car?Some of you ladies are making me feel old...mine was a '92 VW Jetta, that I got in 2000. She was a total junker, but that car ran until 275k miles, so she served me well. Good times...
How are you feeling? (Physically and emotionally) Physically my back hurts when I sit for too long. Emotionally I'm getting really excited to meet the little!
Any appointments, ultrasounds, or milestones this week? No, but I found out this week that I failed the one-hour gestational diabetes screening (I was at 140 and they wanted me at 130) so I go in for the 3-hour next week. Boo.
What else is going on? Apples and Onions? Apples: My parents got us a car seat and a crib mattress, yay! Onions: failing the one-hour GD screening.

How are you feeling? (Physically and emotionally) Physically - feel ok, pretty tired, uncomfortable, rib pain has been terrible at night when Baby B settles up high in my rib cage..walking helps so much. I try to get a good walk in every day. Emotionally - I am feeling good. A little stressed about all the phonecalls coming in from folks that are trying to plan their visits to see the babies (we have tons of out of state family - all of our family is out of state, in fact), because I am not sure if I want my entire maternity leave to be made up of a train of folks rolling through the house. And of course I'm grateful...the logistics stress me out though. And being expected to tell people now how I will feel in 3 months is impossible.
Any appointments, ultrasounds, or milestones this week? Next week is my appointment; we have begun the 3rd trimester so we now have appointments every two weeks.

Apples - sunshiney day, spring fever, wearing a better shirt today (yesterday my belly wouldn't stay covered in the shirt I chose to wear), milk chocolate dipped Peeps are out...heck, all Easter candy is out. YUM! Onions - Rib pain...rib pain that wakes me at night and kind of reminds me of my pulmonary embolism. So thankful it is a baby in there

How are you feeling? (Physically and emotionally) I have been tired this week. Daylight savings time kicked my ass on too of the accreditation committee visit at my school all week. I had a rough day yesterday because LO was inactive and I got paranoid, but he went back to his normal gymnastics routine later in the day.
Any appointments, ultrasounds, or milestones this week? Nothing this week. I go in 3/17.
What else is going on? Apples and Onions? Apples- the accreditation team left today so life can go back to normal at work!
Onions- I'm in a wedding this weekend. I want this to be an apple, but I'm not excited about being on display in front of 200 people in an expensive dress that makes me look fat. I'm having a bad body image week. All those people telling me how big I am and that I have the pregnant waddle can suck it. It's not a compliment.

How are you feeling? (Physically and emotionally) physically, normal for this stage of the game. Emotionally, I always feel rattled when I hear about someone's loss. It feels incredibly selfish but I can't help internalizing that fear.

Any appointments, ultrasounds, or milestones this week? We had a 3D u/s yesterday so we could get a peak at this little boy's face. He wasn't very cooperative but I did manage to get a couple decent shots. I am so ready to meet him - I wish it were May already!
What else is going on? Apples and Onions? Not feeling well aside from being pregnant - feel like I am coming down with something but I can't pinpoint what exactly. Just so ready for the weekend, luckily it's getting closer!

Any appointments, ultrasounds, or milestones this week? nothing this week. have an u/s coming up on Monday. Hoping we can get a good face shot. At our last a/s (redo around 24 weeks) the tech took a few 3D pics while we were trying to get LO to turn and get some measurements. I thought LO was looking like DH, so I'd be curious to see if that remains true. Now looking back on DD's last u/s pics, they really do look so much like her!

the car I drove in high school was a '86 chevy station wagon. it was my step-moms, smelled funny and occasionally would randomly honk (long hhhhoooooonnnnnkkkkk) when I would turn a corner.
