Healthy baby boy!! And confirmed only one baby, so my twin theory is shot He is also measuring ahead but keeping due date since it is not a full 2 weeks ahead (I don't get why)..
our A/S confirmed our 18w elective that we are having a girl! healthy and everything looked good.. we have to go back in 3 weeks because LO didn't want to move her hands.. she was chewing on her fingers so they want us to go back to get a better look at her face! cant complain cause i get to see her again!
Our a/s went great. Our sweet baby BOY was very cooperative. The tech got all the needed measurements and great pics. I had a feeling we were having a boy!
Only 3.5 more hours! I think baby could sense my excitement at 6am this morning. He was kicking and punching up a storm. I was even able to feel it from the outside for the very 1st time!
Good luck to anyone else who has their scan today!

We had our follow up appointment this morning from our a/s that was 6 weeks ago. Thankfully the brightness on her bowel has decreased significantly! There is only just a little white still there and is almost gone. Our u/s dr said that she is measuring on the smaller side of the normal range which is probably why we saw the brightness, so they will have me back in about 5 weeks just to monitor that her size and growth is still in the normal range but that he's not worried at all. They also said that my size could be the reason for the bowel looking whiter, as it tends to happen more on thinner women. (Extra bonus for having someone call me thin because I consider myself average ) I'm so thankful for such a great news appointment after six weeks of stress!!
Baby's sex is still a mystery! Just as I'd hoped. What a relief! The tech doesn't look if the parents don't want to know. They do it that way so the nurse or doctor don't accidently ruin the surprise.
The scan went pretty quickly because he was very cooperative. The placenta is on my front left side and baby was head way down low so that explains alot.
He was measuring over a week ahead with really long legs. Not surprising since my husband is 6'4". It was the first appointment he's been to and he was sooo excited. It was super cute. I've never been happier myself!

So shocked! first one on my DHs side in almost 30 years
Everything checked out, and the preliminary look at the heart was great. We just have to get through the echocardiogram in four weeks and we'll be solid (I was born with a heart defect, so they check the babies in utero just in case).
And it's a GIRL here!! So excited that DD will have a little sister! DH is very excited to have another girl. Everything looked good. LO wasn't being too cooperative, so I have to have a another u/s in a few weeks to get some more measurements, but I don't mind! Another chance to see this little peanut! Glad everyone's appointments have gone well!
