E was about 6 months old the first time he fell out of our bed. I panicked and I wanted to kick DH, who was supposed to be watching him. But he was just fine.
My LO fell down the stairs the other day. Its not a whole flight of stairs but man it was not good. I thought my DH was watching her because she had gone up and was playing with him. Well she went to the stairs to come back down but sat back up to look at him and fell backward down the stairs. I freaked out! I saw her fall all the way. She cried for like 5 seconds. No real bruises and she was completely fine. I was the one not so fine!!
I'm sure your LO will be just fine! These things happen!
I have a Daughter born 2/26/2013. She is pretty much amazing!
Like @Vervladimir said, this has happened to DS more than I care to admit, especially when he was a bit younger. We are practicing learning how to climb off the bed safely, but I think he thinks it's a game of "mommy's sliding me off the bed, I'm going to try to climb back up," bringing lots of giggles lol
I'm sure your LO is ok Try not to worry too much as long as he's acting normal!
DD has fallen out of our bed twice...luckily I am an awful housekeeper in the rooms that guests dont see, so she fell into a pile of clean laundry both times....
I wouldnt worry too much hun, happens to the best of us, and if your LO is acting normal and calmed down I am sure its ok. Dont beat yourself up
This happened to us recently while on a trip. It was very scary. DS ended up holding his breath after it happened and passed out. We called 911 and they came to check him out. He had stopped crying and was walking around by the time the paramedics got there. If he is acting normal I would just keep an eye on him.
Lo rolled for the first time off the couch and face planted onto the hardwood floor when she was 5 months old. She cried right away but I took her to the doc anyways. They just told me to keep an eye out for vomiting and to wake her every 2 hours for the next 24hours. If your worried do that.
