I think I am normally pretty good at decorating but I am kind of stuck right now. We are doing a vintage airplane theme, I want to keep the "theme" to a minimum so it does not look like airplanes threw up all over the room. This is what we have or are planning on so far, the background of the long airplane picture is a distressed gray though, not the tan here. Those are the sheets and we have a navy crib skirt to go with it. I really wanted navy and red color block curtains but can't find them for a reasonable price so I most likely will go with navy.

The room also has this day bed in it. We will give this bed to Audrey when she is ready but in the mean time it will stay in the nursery. We already have a navy comforter so I will use that. When we move the bed we will take the gray glider from her room and put it in the nursery.

I feel like this is enough navy now and would like to pull in some of the other colors. There is not a ton of wall space...the closet is on one wall, the crib will be on the other with the long pic over it, the day bed takes up the third wall (with the exception of the space between the canopy frame) and the fourth wall has the window and we will put the dresser in front of the window.
So, any ideas on what I can do to tie this all together without going airplane or red/white/blue cheesiness overboard? Thanks, and sorry this ended up being so long!
Re: Decorating help...nursery edition
He is in the Army and his job has nothing to do with planes, but the original Hugh in their family that all of the first born males' middles names have been after was a WW2 pilot and flew the plane that is in the picture above the crib, I thought it was really cool that we were able to find his specific plane.
ETA: I do not know yet what shade the red plane is, I ordered it on etsy and it is not here yet so I will wait until it gets here. I think it is a true red though.

They were just images. One of them was linked but it is $98. I'm sure
you can find that style on etsy for way less. Or maybe Hobby Lobby.
That's a pricey pillow, I will check etsy!
