GD test today, and second anatomy scan after 8 long weeks to see if her stomach looks liek it is a normal size. Also, maybe she will cooperate, and let us confirm that she a girl today. Since they didn't see anything 'goods' at the 20 week, they just assumed.
I just drank my orange glucose cocktail. Blood draw in one hour, then stopping at Dunkin Donuts in case I get a phone call saying no more chocolate glazed donuts til June.
Glucose test this morning. The fruit punch wasn't bad after 4 weeks in my fridge. I fasted all morning. I'm off to Chick-fil-a for a late. I may copy @liberty95 and pick up donuts.
Our appointment went great! The stomach looked normal, and we definitely have a girl measuring at 2 lbs. 11oz. She was kicking me the whole appointment, so they captured a picture of her foot for us.
Had my glucose test this morning too, as well as testing for antibodies for my Rhogam shot next appt. LO heartbeat sounded great, dr schedule a fetal echo because I did IVF. I guess there is a correlation between babies born with heart defects and IVF. I had no idea? Not too worried as things have been going smoothly and another chance to see the baby. Hope everyone's appointment goes well!
I had my 26 week appointment this morning - measuring right on track and heartbeat was in the 140s. I finally remembered to bring my list of questions so got a few things answered! Moving onto appointments every 2 weeks now. GTT at the next one.
@mullenem I had the same thing happen with my bloodwork and it being sent to the wrong, out of network lab. (I think I wrote a post about it awhile back). It took a few phone calls but I got it to go away. Not sure if the OB's office ate it or if the lab did but thankfully I didn't have to pay (it was for my initial bloodwork so more to the tune of $1500). I hope you can get it worked out!
Had the one hour glucose test this morning and failed (barely X( ) So I have to go in for the 3 hour within the next week. Not looking forward to that. FX!!!!
Otherwise the doctor gave me "an A+" for pregnancy thus far. So, I'll take it! One more 4-wk before I start the every two week appointments. We're getting so close!!!!
@babybean82 made me really think and I decided my swelling at 28 weeks was not all normal. At work I checked my BP and it was high. So I called and now waiting to be seen. Thanks for sharing today @babybean82. Updates to come
Gained a lot. 4 lbs in less then a week. 15 in 5 weeks. That's a lot fast. Plus I have been on a good food diet. Negative for protein. Still waiting for dr.
My appt went well! Glucose drink went down fine... Will know results tomorrow. Was it enough sugar for me? Apparently not, as I finish a giant piece of ice cream cake!
26 weeks tomorrow and Sugar test today! Can I just say that I am day dreaming about the food I can have post blood draw good luck today ladies!
Post blood draw, we learned I'm measuring at 28 weeks instead of 25 & I've gained 25 lbs. No results from my sugar test for 10 days hoping for good news. We ate afterwards and went to goodwill for 1.5 hrs, while trying on clothes took my jeans and boots off... my socks have literally my socks were cutting into my legs. Ive never swelled and that to me seems FAST. Hoping it's nothing
@Miranda&MichaelR I have been having a lot of ankle swelling too. I'm just a couple days short of 25 weeks but it's been going on for a couple weeks now. Mine goes away when I keep my feet elevated and of course take off anythibg restricting (like socks). Fx yours is nothing as well.
Had my 24 week this morning. Did a limited ultrasound since last time she couldn't get a pic of the spine. Baby cooperated this time and all looks good! Regular checkup went fine and next time is the glucose test.
28 week check-up today-all good! Plus my Dr had the results from my 1 hr GD test and I am so excited to have passed! I am incredibly happy that I do not have to go through the 3 hr one this time
Me (36) + DH(35) = Married 9yrs!
BFP #1 May 2010! mc @11weeks blighted ovum, natural mc.
BFP #2 Sept 2010! mc @9 weeks, natural mc.
Diagnosed with Prothrombin Gene Mutation or Factor II (hetro)-baby asprin while ttc,
Found out the hard way that I am deathly allergic to aspirin- OB put me on Heparin injections.
BFP #3 July 2011 with DS (whom was diagnosed with bilateral trans-radial limb deficiency at 20 week A/S-with no answers why) born 4-12-12.
We had the completion ultrasound today. He is still a he. His brain and heart features were visible this time and were looking just fine. No more concern about that. He's weighing in at 2lbs 5oz at 25w6d. I go in for my GD test in two weeks and my next OB visit is in 3 weeks. Baby Cooper is a big fan of reclining with his hands behind his head, both ultrasounds showed him doing that.
@babygabe614 first of all I love your bump pic! Secondly, this just startex but I'm trying to be proactive. I know one thing I dread the heat in May. Lol I had to leave the store without my socks on barefoot in my leather riding boots.. socks had to go! Came home and propped the feet up but now heat is radiating from my side where Baylor is laying and I'm afraid this awful stomach virus has hit me. Geesh when it rains it pours! Mind you this is the same virus my step brother had earlier this week and an ambulance had to come get him. No rest for the wicked!
