    I voted introvert because I enjoy having alone time and I'm usually reserved around people I don't know very well. I even feel shy on J13!

    Definite introvert. But I play a pretty good extrovert when I have to - mostly at work functions and meetings.

    Definitely an extrovert! Interesting because I wasn't always. I was as a child, but moving from Nebraska to Pittsburgh, I got teased incessantly and became very quiet (I had NO sense of humor). Then I joined band, and later I got addicted to MUDs in the 90s, and kind of came out of my shell again. Now it's hard to shut me up and I'm more than slightly narcissistic. I get insanely excited when some one tags me here or on Facebook. I actually thought many of you were extroverts as well, and I'd venture to say that some of you are situational extroverts. :) the bump gives you wiiiiings!

    I got introvert, too.  I think DH is the extrovert in our relationship...I give him so much crap all the time about being so social, having way too many friends on FB, etc. But that's one of the first things that attracted me to him--I was happy to let him do the talking and to be the listener!

    Introvert. I love public speaking and am assertive and articulate, but too much socializing wears me down. And I actually just finished reading Quiet (see link in OP). I recommend it for everyone. It made me feel less apologetic for being myself.

    I'm an introvert. While I can be quite social in settings, it wears me out. I actually spent the day at the auto show for work last year and was very good chatting with customers all day and being social, but I was EXHAUSTED afterwards.

    I had a client once who was a total extrovert. We would travel for TV commercial shoots and he literally could not be in his hotel room unless it was for sleeping. Go go go. After three weeks of it I was so spent...I just needed to be alone. I ended up skipping out on a couple of dinners just so I could eat room service by myself in my bathrobe.

    Come to think of it, looking at life now, that sounds like heaven :)

    Myers Briggs says introvert. I agree. I can be social and even enjoy it, but I do tend to be reserved.

    I bet 99% of the people in my life would say I'm an extrovert. I consider myself an introvert. I internalize most things and am not big on sharing my feelings. I require lots of me time.

    I'm excellent at talking to people and am very social when in a situation that requires it, but it definitely exhausts me to even think about it. I need my time alone to recharge. My mom always said it was because I was the most interesting person to me :)
