#1 I thought the was considered a bad idea all across TB. Why is it being launched anyway?

They are launching as a 30 day beta. They have it in their heads that this will help keep people from going to FB. The mods keep telling them that the best way to do that is to make the mobile site very easy to use and navigate.

It makes me want to use FB more @WashingtonQueen‌ !! It's a bad idea and will just cause drama.. I agree with the mobile site. It needs to be a lot easier and have more functions like the actual site does. BOO BUMP!

I don't think TB understands that FB and TB serve different purposes. It doesn't have to be FB.

I don't use FB and I enjoy TB for its relative anonymity and focus on a specific group of people (mothers of young children).

I agree that improving mobile would help 100%. Just improving the ability to load photos and gifs would be a huge step in the right direction.

@kwrecks‌ I found the August 2013 group under social groups (on my laptop), when I opened the group it said that I had been invited to join and asked me to accept or decline the invite. Hope that helps!!

It's hard for those who haven't been asked

I had to answer why I wanted to join the group. I know we are all active on TB in different ways; but does this mean that unless we are invited into a discussion we won't see anything?

@PB102012 No, I have not seen it on the app, and its a pain in the ass to get to mobile....as soon as I jumped on my laptop at home, I was able to get right in
