My water broke last night around 10 pm (Kuwait time). It took me totally by surprise. I figured I would be completely average and able to labour at home for hours. But once the water broke, my contractions were 3 minutes apart. So I showered, ate some food and we headed to the hospital. Funny story, my husband was so anxious to come that he was practically Trying to drag me out of the shower and into the car--butt naked.

They've told me to prepare for a long labour, since baby is still high. Fingers crossed she drops easily and we meet her soon

Update: still in labour at 6 cm. they're talking about a c-section again. She still hasn't dropped completely. I want to say no, but at this point I'm just confused about what's best and what's just easier.

Layla was born march 12 at 1 pm. She's a very healthy girl at 9 lbs 4 oz. I did end up with a c section after a failure to progress, which I'm disappointed about but super happy she's with me and healthy.
