Strict bed rest

I had PTL with DS who was born at 38 weeks but started at 31 weeks and wAs on meds to stop it until 37 weeks.

I was 30 weeks Monday and was having ultrasounds every 3 weeks and weekly doctor visits. Last ultrasound showed changes and funneling. I was put on Procardia but now I've made it 4 days and I've been moved to strict bed rest so in out if work and praying baby boy stays put!!

Sending thoughts and prayers your way. I was just put on bed rest too for high blood pressure. I'm 32 weeks today so I'm hoping my little one can stay put too. How are you managing your DS with bed rest? My DS has the croup right now so it has been interesting so far.

He goes to preschool 3X per week and afterwards would go eith my sister in law if my hubby was working so he's going to continue and then in the evenings he will bounce between grandparents until hubby is home later. Fortunately he works 3 (12 hr) shifts. It's still going to be a challenge and I feel like he should be here since I'm home but he's a big ball of energy!

T&P! I was put on bed rest with DD for PTL at 31 weeks. Had her at 35. Its no fun, especially with another one to take care of!

I've been on bed rest since 27w with my first im now 30w3d. Although it sucks... bed rest really does help. I firmly believe it's why I've made it this far. T&p to you.

Oh man. I'm sorry you're on BR. Have you been getting P17 shots? Do you still have some cervix left?

I have an appt tomorrow to check my cervix and I'm nervous as hell they're going to give me the same news as you.

My first ultrasound 3 weeks ago showed no change in cervix but the one I had recently showed funneling at the top but I'm still not dilated. He said if I make it to 34 weeks he could give me the Steriod shots to develop his lungs so that's our goal for now!

A friend of mine has had the steroid shots already. She is 31 weeks but had them 3 weeks ago when she first went into labor.
