Hi Ladies,
I'm so excited that I just wanted to share, my little guy was discharged from the hospital Sunday night. Sunday I was full of mixed emotions first so happy that he was well enough to come home but anxious and a little nervous about bringing him home. The thought of no more monitors telling you that you LO is okay is a little nerve racking. To say the least I didn't get much sleep Sunday night. However last night was much better, I was actually able to put him down and sleep between feedings instead of staring at the monitor or getting up to check on him. I cant believe he is finally home. The best feeling is waking up with him here and getting to lay on the couch with him in my arms. I know some families have spent much more time in the NICU but 3 weeks seemed like forever. Thank you so much for all your thoughts, prayers and kind words over the past three weeks.
Now the real journey begins!
