Short story: Harper was born at 9:17pm via emergency csection. She was 6lbs 7oz and 19 inches long.
Long story: I had a dr appt this morning and she decided to do a membrane sweep, I was 40w4days. Starting about 2 I was having irregular contractions and around 4 they were starting to become timetable. Waited till about 8 to go into the hospital, cuz were 2 mins apart lasting about 50secs. When we got to triage they hooked me up and found that with every contraction LOs heart rate was dropping significantly and the only position where she would tolerate the contractions was on my hands and knees. When her heart rate dropped there were so many people do all these things basically prepping us to go into surgery. Luckily I did have enough time to get a spinal, almost need general. They took us into the OR and she was born by 9:17, it all happened so quickly! She had meconium in her lungs so she needed to spend about 3 hours in the NICU but then she go to come back with me. She has latched once and did a good job. It all just happened so fast, definitely not the way I expected it to go but we are both doing good. I'm so in love already!!
This is on mobile and I'm kinda out if it just waiting to try and sleep, so spelling/grammar might be an issue
