Itchy,dry Skin

What do you use for LO's dry skin? Just lotion? I noticed my DS has been scratching his legs alot. I feel like when he was scratching last night that I could see little bumps prob. from where the hair follicles are. I am chalking it up to a long cold, dry winter in New England. I try to put lotion on him as much as he tolerates but wanted to make sure I am getting my bang for the buck? What do you use? Right now I have Aquaphor and Burts Bees. I mostly use the Burt's Bees. I also wanted to mention that we don't bath too frequency to cut back on the skin dryness.

  • we use burt's bees too, but the one formulated for eczema, and i apply it a few time a day.

  • Cerave cream (the one in the tub) and body wash per the derm. It feels super rich and creamy and has kept DD's eczema in check. I started using it to wash my face and my skin has never been softer- got rid of my dry skin as well.
