Merry Tuesday Ladies!
This check-in is not necessarily exercise-related. I know a lot of us are trying to eat healthier and give up bad habits thanks to the motivation of pregnancy/new baby, so any kind of getting heathy is welcome here!
What did you do last week?
What are your plans for this week?
What's your long-term/mid-term goal?
GTKY: Do you get sick often? Has this changed since LO came along?

Re: ~*~ Tuesday's Getting Healthy Check-In ~*~
Last week- Not much honestly. The plague continued to take over my house.
This week- A little better. We hit 50 yesterday so I got an outdoor run in. Felt ahhmazing.
Goal- I'm now 1lb away from prebaby weight. Woot. So, 11lbs to go! Either way, I got back into my jeans which makes me pretty happy
QOTW- I get sinus infections pretty frequently. It's not fun. My oldest is just like me. DD2 isn't usually too bad. And, DS... has already been on antibiotics twice. Being sick with sick littles is super tough. And, lately I've been sick with at least 2 sick littles. It's hard to take care of them when you feel like crap too.
DS born 6/2013
This week: Already walked/jogged some this evening, and printed out a possibly plan for the half marathon.
Goal: Half marathon in Nov.
GTKY: I get sick usually when the season first change. 2-3 times a year. It seems like my sickness hasn't been as bad since LO, or at least don't last as long.
Last week: I was able to run 3 times and make sure I walked every day at least 2 miles. Unfortunately my sciatica has popped up in a bad way. It's the worst it has been in 3 years. Getting to the chiro this weekend.
This week: I was able to use the elliptical at the gym (thank you drop in daycare!) on backwards at a high resistance which is my goto for alleviating some of the pain. It's seems to pull and tighten my sacrum into place. Either way I am patting myself on the back because it kills so working out is rough. I am avoiding other exercise until I can get back in alignment. But my diet has been great and I have been sticking with my Lenten no snacks after dinner!
Goal: marathon in November, but since ramping up the mileage has already flared my problem I am doubtful my leg and hip will hold out past 10 miles. Anyone want to buy a NYC marathon bib?
I have a steel immune system. My sons are the same way. Neither of my boys have ever been sick except when G was 14 months and started daycare he was sick for a month on and off. I feel incredibly blessed but also attribute part of it to making a point of working out, getting fresh air and eating well.
This week: I plan to swim again this weekend.
Goal: tone up!
QOTW: I used to NEVER get sick. I've been sick twice with colds thanks to LO but luckily (knock on wood) he's been healthy so far!
What did you do last week? I worked out 4 times!
