in Secondary IF
Counting things out I should surge on Friday and then do an iui on saturday. My ob's office is an hour away from work so getting my ultrasound and trigger is always a scheduling issue. So I've thought about just doing iui without the trigger. What are your thoughts?

Oh and just to add it's either iui with no trigger or just try on our own. I can't miss more work this week.

    Idk. will your RE do an IUI without the trigger?

    Also- I didn't have to go to the office to trigger. They told me what day to to do it and my mom gave me the shot...

    Maybe see if doing your own trigger is an option??

    I don't know if I would invest time and $$$ into an IUI without the trigger... I am inclined to say wait until you can do the IUI all guns blazing...

    Maybe someone else will have better advice. My IUIs were done in 2008 so I'm not much help.

    I would see if you could do the trigger yourself... and like above what is the reason?

    I agree with the at home trigger option. If you do a sub-q ovidrel trigger you can barely feel a thing.

    Two DDs 10/08 and 08/10, no primary IF
    TTC #3 since 10/2011 - dx unexplained/weak ovulation
     3 BFN clomid + TI cycles, 5 BFN clomid/gonal f IUIs, 1 mmc IUI
    2/19/2014 IVF #1 Unexpected low E2 (oversuppressed) -> increased to max doses = 3 or 4 follicles, converting to IUI
    BFFP Saw 1 beautiful heartbeat at 6w6d, follow up u/s at 9w showed mmc. Eff this.
    NTNP 5/2014-9/2014, OPKs and TI 10/2014 - 1/2015. 
    RPL testing all normal, AFC, AMH, and FSH all normal. 
    IVF 1.2 1/22/2014 natural cycle start, AFC 28, 300 gonal f/150menopur. 
    ER 2/3/15 14R 8M 3F w/ICSI Day 5 transfer on 2/8/15 of one "Grade A+" blast and have TWO frosties!

    We are MFI that's why I thought it might be ok to do without the trigger. But I totally get the not wasting money unless you are all in. I'm going to check with my doctor and see if we can do the shot at home.

    Yea, you can definitely do the IUI without the trigger, the trigger won't make much difference if you are MFI, but I agree with the girls- see if you can do your trigger at home. It's not a big deal even if it's IM, it's one quick shot- easy peasy. 

    I think you will be fine either way. Good luck!
