What kind do you use? Do you make your own? Do you just use water? Make your own solution? Spray bottle? Keep some wet? Haha!!! Lots of questions!! TIA!
I started off using a homemade solution with essential oils, but it ended up giving DS a rash. I switched to using a spray bottle with just water, which was much easier and more gentle for DS.

We have a rag tag collection of home made wipes and etsy made wipes and some osocozy. We just use water. At first we used a wipe warmer to keep some wet,but as we started using fewer as baby got older we started just wetting them in the sink as needed.
Mama to a little girl born July 2011 and a little boy born April 2014!
I keep a peri bottle of plain water at my changing station. My favorite wipes are the ones I made with flannel on one side and terry cloth on the other.
I bought some hemp wipes and I made some out of a flannel blanket. For the solution I plan on using water with a tiny drop of TTO and olive oil, we will adjust as needed. Some people put a tiny bit of baby soap in but that just seems like it would dry everything out to me.
I have store bought cloth wipes, but you can also use baby washcloths. I've used commercial baby wipe solution and didn't like it.
Now I fill a wipes container with water and put a couple drops of tea tree oil in there for its antibacterial properties and just dunk the wipes in there as needed and squeeze out water. When I put all the wipes in there at once, I found the ones at the bottom would start to smell sometimes before I got to them.
We use regular wipes when we're out and the daycare uses regular wipes too.

I use organic wipes I found on Amazon -- cannot recall the brand, as well as some ones I made from the flannel hospital receiving blankets.
Our wipe solution is water with a few drops of apricot oil and a few drops of CA Baby Diaper Wash. One bottle of each will last me an entire year or longer. I mix the solution in an old disposable wipe container and dunk a stack of folded wipes in there. I do this every 2-3 days and have never had a mold problem.

i use a brand called SMJAE (stands for Sewing Mama Just Accessories Etc) that used to be on hyenacart but no longer exists... I think. I haven't checked in a few years, though. Maybe she reopened. Her thin cotton wipes are fabulous! I have about 65 of them.
I only dunked in water, and never kept them wet. Just little tubs of water by each changing station. Lesson learned, though... you have to change the water frequently... probably daily! I didn't do that at first, and kiddo got a staph infection from the slimy water when he was about 2 weeks old. Cue major bouts of mommy guilt and beratement.
We got a LOT of baby washcloths as shower gifts, so we'll most likely be using those with warm water. Not sure that I'll add anything to the water - best to keep those naughty bits free of fragrances.

Most of my wipes are just baby wash cloths. I have some Charlie banana wipes and some bum genesis wipes too. In the beginning we used a drop of tea tree essential oil in water and loaded them in the wipes warmer that way. I have been using Ca baby soap (just a drop) for the last few weeks. I got this new stuff called baby bits that I can't wait to try. It's little lavender scented soap squares you dissolve in water to make wipes solution. We shall see how it works for us.
I made my own from a really soft, thin baby towel since we got so many of those at our showers. I kept a spray bottle of just plain water at the change table and would spray the wipe to moisten it before each use.

We use a water, 1Tbsp baby wash and a few drops of tea tree oil in a little spray bottle from Target (in the little travel items section). Baby washcloths for the wipes. Spray solution on baby's bottom, then wipe with the dry cloth, as opposed to wetting the washcloths then wiping.

So just the spray bottle with dry wipes?? what a brilliant idea! I really wanted to use cloth wipes rather than disposable but the thought of having to dampen them before use made me think twice!
Would you still soak before washing, or just rinse and throw in the machine?

We got a ton of washcloths at the shower (65 washcloths!). I separated the really nice ones from the less nice ones. The less nice ones (approx 30 of them) will be used as wipes.
We have a wipe warmer where I'll keep some. I'll also keep a a spray bottle with water.
I would rinse and throw them into the machine along with the diapers.
I use a wipe warmer, pour some water on the bottom, roll up or fold thin baby wash cloths from target, throw them in there, then drench with more water. When I take it out I squeeze it over the other wipes so they don't dry out. I used to make a solution, but then I stopped caring, plain water was just fine.
@MrsStanton87 I get hot water from the bath in a big pink cup (I suppose any color cup will work, but mine is pink) then add my oil or soap and then pour over the wipes I've folded and placed in 2 piles in the warmer. There's usually lots of water left in the warmer, so I squeeze them out as needed.

I love that you have a specific pink cup, that's awesome!

Last time I out wipes in huge warmer and added water. This time I think I'm going to try wetting them, wringing them out, then putting them in the warmer. We only do a days worth or so at a time.
Mama to a little girl born July 2011 and a little boy born April 2014!
@MrsStanton87 DD is a heavy wetter, never lasts more than 2 days. Then I use the last wipe in the warmer to wipe the inside and outside down before refilling. With a newborn I used to refill the warmer at least once a day.
I just made a bunch of 4x4 squares of soft flannel and did a zigzag stitch around them, then let them fray out in the wash. We use a peri bottle with water and a few drops of TTO and if the wipe needs to be damp- give it a squirt. Then everything just goes in the diaper pail together. Easy peasy.
Re: CD mamas who use cloth wipes
I get a handful of washcloths wet before the diaper change.
