My baby is going when she is 15 months, 13 adjusted and it's coming up. She's going to fail because she is totally in her terrible 2's already. I know she can stack blocks, but if I ask her to, she throws them off the table one by one, or with a hand sweep. I know she can play ball, but if someone gives her a new ball, she'll just bite on it. I know she can say many words, wave, and clap, but she is unlikely to do any of these right when I ask her to... She thinks crayons are for a game in which she furiously crawls away and tries to bite them while I chase her, although I have seen her scribble and find joy in it. Grrr. She can't yet walk and she can't really use a cup or a spoon in an acceptable way, but I just feel like they'll think she can't do ANYTHING when she just bites and drops all their testing items.
Re: S/O returning for assessments
During our assessments, if she wouldn't actually perform the behavior or activity, they would ask me if I've seen her do it, and she would still get credit. The assessment sheet was filled with "O"s and "I"s, for Obseved behavior or Informed of behavior. Good luck!
