Follicles & Embryos Poll

Hi Everyone I'm going in for my first Egg Retrieval tomorrow. They think I'm borderline PCOS with no normal symptoms other than a lot of follicles all the time...
As of right now I've got 15-17 Follicles on my Right Ovary and 6-10 on my Left ready to rock and roll tomorrow but I know that a lot of eggs doesn't necessarily mean a lot of embryos so I wanted to see if you ladies who have had a successful IVF could ring in for me :) TIA

Me = 34 Unexplained IF/ Ovulation Issues
DH = 34 Perfect
TTC 4 Years
Married 7, together 15 years.
1 miscarriage at 18 years old
3 Failed IUI's with injectables
NEXGEN IVF Study at RMA March 2014
Resulted in 8 embryos
FET #1: April 2014, loss at 11 weeks
FET #2: July 2015. Walker born 2/26/16! 

Currently waiting for AF, Starting FET #3 January 2017!
4 more frozen embryos!

    PCOS or OHSS? Just curious... if you meant OHSS. 

    My first cycle was in 2011, I know I had 53 follies and developed OHSS. 40 some odd of them fertilized... We did low grade PGD testing and got 17 that came back normal and made it to day 5 blasts. I got my first BFP with that cycle (MC). 

    Did 2 FETs after that, 1 failed and one BFP (chemical) 

    This cycle at ER I had 40 follies, 31 Mature, 25 Fertilized, 15 made it to day5 blasts.

    I dont know how many from each ovary. Hope this helps you.

    I had 10+ follicles on each side (though, I have polycsytic ovaries)
    They retrieved 14
    10 fertilized
    I didn't get a day 3 update but..
    today is day5 and I had 7 still going.
    4 were ahead of the pack, and 3 still have potential to being frozen.
    UPDATE: Last 3 didn't make it to freeze :(

    This is my first IVF and I did transfer today, so here's to hoping it only takes 1 try! praying like crazy

    TX: IUI #1 with Follistim. Canceled due to too many follicles (10 + that were large); BENCHED
    IVF #1 March 6. 14 eggs retrieved, 10 fertilized. 
    March 11, 4 eggs transferred.
    March 21 BFP  :) Beta #1 457, Beta #2 1350, Beta #3 9619. 
    Due Date November 27, 2014

    @jaztaz1 PCOS (I have a lot of follicles they haven't done any further tests but with the amount of failed cycles on clomid, then IUI injectable cycles and the fact I'm not ovulating on my own if I do it's super irregular, they said that I could potentially have PCOS but they haven't looked any further yet into it because I got into this IVF Study and they said it's my best chance to get pregnant. You have a TON of follicles wow glad you had so many make it to 5 day freeze good luck to you!!

    @indianaalum Thanks for the info and GOOD LUCK to you! Lots of prayers for sticky babies! =) Keep me posted! I don't do my FET (with two embryos hopefully) until prob the end of April because I'm going away for business. So this is going to be the LONGEST wait ever... way worse than the TWW haha

    I had 20+ on each side, but cannot recall how many big ones there were at the last scan.

    9 Day 3 morulas
    9 Day 5 blasts
    1 transferred, 3 frozen. I go to Shady Grove and they have strict standards for freezing.
    No BFP yet, that's why I'm here ;)
    TTC #1 since 2011 · Me (35, PCOS, AMA, abnormal eggs) and DH (47, MFI)
    2012-2013: 3 Clomid cycles, 3 IUIs, all BFNs
    IVF #1 January 2014: 14R/12M/9F 1 transferred, 3 frozen = BFN
    FET #1 March 2014: 1 transferred = BFFN · FET #2 May 2014: 2 transferred = BFFN
    IVF #2 June 2014: 24R/11M/10F 6 PGS tested: 1 normal embryo, 1 with no result

    I have PCOS and used the antagonist protocol to help prevent OHSS.

    Right Ovary Follicles:  10ish
    Left Ovary Follicles: 13ish
    How Many Eggs Retrieved: 23  (20 mature)
    How Many Fertilized: 17  (16 normally, 1 abnormally).  Note, we used ISCI for fertilization.
    How Many made to day 3 Blast:  16 (5 "early Blasts", 7 8-cell, 1 7-cell, 1 6-cell, 1 5-cell, 1 4-cell)
    How Many made it to day 5 Blast:  Don't know - we transferred one Hatching Blast on Day 5 and had 6 high quality Hatching Blasts to freeze on day 6.
    What IVF Cycle did you get BFP:  1st

    Married 10/06

    Baby Girl "C" arrived on 10/07/14 (39 weeks, 6 days)

                                       Heartbeats were 119 & 120 beans measured (6 weeks 1 day) (6 weeks 2 days)
    found out at 20 weeks that baby B went to heaven
    11/12/14 Baby girl arrived :)

    We did a freeze all and tested our emrbyos. So no BFP yet!

    Thank you everyone for your responses! We ended up doing our Egg Retrieval on 3/12/14! 

    19 Eggs
    13 Fertilized!! 
    Waiting to find out how many make it to day 5 (they don't tell us day 3)

    Then we start our FET once AF shows!
