So it's time to get back to work. Luckily I work from home, but my job is very demanding and I can't give the care I need to my LO and focus at the same time. I would like to hire a nanny or babysitter part time and I'll be home the whole time. Has anyone used care.com or sittercity? Are they reliable or not worth the money?
I've used sitter city with good results. You might also try TLC Sitters of Atlanta. They serve the metro area and will fine someone for you. I used to work for them part time. Everyone is CPR certified and goes through extensive background screenings.
I would caution you to do the membership that gets you access to the background checks or plan to do your own. I know someone Who is on care.com and has no business taking care of children. Just because they're on the website doesn't make them trustworthy. I'm sure there are great people on there it's just important to be careful.
