Home inspection tomorrow

Any tips? Wish me luck! I could be licensed as soon as Friday. All the waiting has paid off. Then I just have to wait for a placement :)

    5/10 - Gideon 6/12 Warren
    4/11 Started adoption process for 2 siblings through DCF. 10/12 Found out we are licensed! 12/14 Brought 3 week old identical twin girls home from the hospital.  Could be at least until Summer 1015 til we know if they are forever ours

    I can't even imagine being that close to being licensed, so I'm wicked excited for you! Good luck!!
    Happily married Mom to 2 beautiful little girls, 2 dogs and 2 cats (all rescues), 2 fish and one 29 year-old firebelly newt.
    ~ Hoping to add to our family by adoption via Connecticut DCF. Application submitted on 2/4/14. First home visit on 6/23/14. Started class 11/17/14.~

    Deep breath. You'll be fine. If they find anything, they'll let you know, and you just have to show them it's taken care of before placement. It's been a long road for you, and your almost there. I hope tomorrow's the final step, and you'll be waiting for a placement before you know it.

    Moving on to Adoption : matched 5/14! 
    Our beautiful son was born August 25, 2014!!

    Thanks :) I am so excited!! It is so close and it's nice to have your support since my family is less than supportive. I can't stop daydreaming of being licensed Friday and getting a call right away for a legally free 2 year old boy. One can dream :)

    Good luck! The social worker will probably make some suggestions. Try not to be defensive. They were quite reasonable for our house and we had already been aware of most of the issues.

    I passed!!!! I could be licensed by next Monday!! Now more waiting :)
