I'm pretty late with this. But I also haven't been on the site in forever.

I woke up at 11 pm on 3/1 to my bloody show and within about 30 mins started feeling what I thought were Braxton hicks. Then they began to get worse so I started timing them. They were about 30 seconds long and 5 mins apart. I waited till about 6 am and called my doctor and she told me to head up. When I got there they told me I was 2 cm. which I was extremely surprised about. They kept me all day. My doctor came up. And said she actually thought I was a tight 1. So there all day and it was like I went backwards lol. They sent me home. I continued to have contractions that got increasingly worse. Here's the kicker tho. They got FURTHER apart. Or closer together. Or just EVERYWHERE. They were completely random and sparactic. Doctor told me to come into the office on Monday 3/3. And when I did she said I was 3 and sent me back to the hospital. Got there at 1. Around 6 the doc came in and guess what still the same. Was sent home again. This time I was determined to wait it out. So now I'm running on 3 days no sleep. And they kept getting worse. But would NOT get closer together. Waited until Wednesday morning 3/5 my due date at 5 am. Mostly because I couldn't sleep. They gave me stadol and I got to sleep for a little. Doctor came in and I was 5. And they were keeping me. Still completely sparactic contractions. I got to 7 and They broke my water. Doctor came in with an ultrasound. Turns out she is facing straight up. Which I why I was progressing slowly and oddly. He tried to turn her and she wouldn't budge. Hoping she would turn gave me pitocin to speed it up later that night. And I took the epidural. Fell asleep. Woke up about 6 am and he checked still 7 cm still face up. He tried one more time to turn her. No luck. So they sent me for a c section. It was so terrifying and the last way I ever wanted to give birth. I saw her for half a second. She was so little. She was born on March 6th at 7:34 am and was 6lbs 5oz. 20 inches long. Had a huge cone head from how she was sitting in there.

It was a long haul and completely worth it. She is very healthy and a wonderful little baby.
