I assumed we, and a lot of you, would have issues with LO's not going to sleep on time and/or sleeping late in the morning since we lost an hour. But DD is just messed up in general, with no particular pattern.
Last night we put her down a little later than normal - maybe 35 minutes or so - to try to compensate. She sat up in her bed talking for well over an hour. This morning she was up an hour EARLIER than normal, which doesn't make sense. And then she fought her nap for my husband even though she was clearly exhausted from getting up at the crack of dawn. She never does that. She's generally a really great sleeper (knock on wood).
I'm sure it will all even out this week.
Re: So, did DST generally screw up LO's sleep?
For whatever reason fall was harder for both of us, but not particularly difficult either.

DD, a little bit. She went to sleep about 45 minutes later than normal, but slept the same amount of time as she usually does....actually, maybe about an extra half hour.
She's also is taking her nap a little later today.

She slept until 9:15 but then didn't take a nap. I wanted to put her down early tonight but by the time dinner and bath were done it was 7:30 and she was so done and overtired. She screamed when I put her down but finally fell asleep about 10 minutes later.
As much as I would love to sleep in again tomorrow, I'd rather her wake up early so she'll go down for a nap!
