Swollen hands & sore joints.. Anyone else?

I'm 37+3, and for the past week my hands have been semi swollen and my finger joints hurt when I bend them. I told my doc about it & he said lay off the salt, which I don't have a lot of anyways..... Anyone else have this problem?

    Yup. Drinking plenty of water seems to help other than that I think it just comes with the territory. Sorry.

    I've had this problem since I was 31 weeks! It's def not fun. I can't bend my fingers in my left hand with out pain and cannot make a fist at all bc they just don't bend that much. It will go away after soon after birth though when you lose the extra fluids and swelling

    Same here. I increased water intake, but hands are still swollen and I pee a lot more during the night. "/

    Yes, usually mine happens to me the worst during the night for some reason. I have had a major issue with swelling anyways I think its just typical unfortunately!!

    Yes my hands have been tight and crampy too. I assumed it was lack of water , which I'm constantly trying to improve.

    Yeah I've had this problem since about week 34. Same as @Futuremrstonyasmith‌ said, it gets worse at night for me. Some days are better than others, no rhyme or reason that I can figure out

    Yep. And with my DD, it went away after I had her. Now? Still swollen and DS is almost 2 weeks. It's horrible.

    Yup! For me seems the worst when I wake up in the morning. Disappointed bc had to finally take off my wedding ring last week, I was hoping to wear it til the end!

    carrieandtim - My doctor warned me that sometimes this goes away right after, but sometimes it takes a couple weeks.  I have this same problem, and carpal tunnel.  Even now, since I've been typing at work this mornig, I can't make a fist and my fingers just feel tight and horrible.  I'm hoping and praying I get a break and it goes away right after.  But if not, I'm told it does eventually go away, even if it takes a couple weeks.

    All of this. Carpal tunnel sucks

    Married 11/27/09 and TTC right away
    Dx: Complete septate uterus with cervical duplication, endometrial polyps, PCOS, endometriosis, hypo thyroid, luteal phase defect
    4 uterus surgeries to correct my complete septum and to remove polyps and 2 years of seeing the RE, medicated cycles and IUIs
    Baby 1 and 2: BFP 3/3/11 with 2 babies EDD 11/1/11, M/C 4/6/11
    Baby #3: 8/11 pregnant EDD 4/27/11 and m/c:(
    Baby #4: 10/12/11 BFP! EDD 6/16/12m/c 10/26/11
    Baby #5: 3/13/12 BFP! EDD 11/25/12 ANOTHER m/c :(

    Baby #6: 2/14/13- BFP! EDD 10/24/13, CP 2/19/13
    Baby #7: 3/15/13- BFP! EDD 11/27/13, another CP
    Baby #8.  BFP 5/19/13 EDD 1/22/14. 8 was not our lucky number

    4th septum resection on 5/31/13.
    Baby #9: 6/29/13 BFP. C section scheduled for March 5th!

    My miracle baby was born March 5 at 9:33am. He was 8 lbs 12.5 oz and 21.25 inches long!
