Return to work - Bra question

I went back to work a week ago. I EP for my twins with the occasional nursing. I have no problem wearing nursing bras at home but I need something with a bit more coverage and lift when I'm at work. (I'm currently a 36DD or probably bigger - I'm not sure). I have one bra that fits from Victoria's Secret but I find that the underwire is causing me clogged ducts at least once a week (only on one side). We call my bigger twin "the plumber" because as long as I nurse her on that side she'll unclog the duct pretty easily.

What bra do you wear to work? I have on a nursing underwire bra today from Bravado and it is so uncomfortable (and itchy, wth?). I'm feeling pretty miserable.

  • I got measured at nordstroms, then ordered online from amazon some underwire nursing bras. Nordstroms measuring was completely different then vs or motherhood marernity and fit so much better. I got a full coverage underwire by Anita and it is so comfy ( and hasn't caused me clogged ducts.
  • Thanks ladies. Looks like a trip to Nordstroms is in order. I can guarantee you that the bras I have aren't the right size. I literally have to bend over to put my boobs in the cups. It's  bad.

As for pumping at work, I do take my bra off and put my pumping bra on. Guess I don't really need a nursing one for regular wear. I can wear my comfortable nursing bras at home.

  • I don't have any advice but I'm laughing at 'the plumber'!

I also wanted to tell you your twins are adorable and your daughter is a cutie too!
