Have you moved on to convertible car seat yet?

I think LO has almost outgrown hers and is time for the next one. Has anyone posted or done a poll on these about the best ones out there. I think I'm going to push DH to go look at options this weekend.

  • We moved up to a convertable about a month ago. I highly suggest you join the Car Seats for the Littles page on Facebook if you haven't already. They have so much good information on there.

  • No new seat for us, buy LO is only 16 lbs. I'm assuming. @CL8badB‌ posted the poll I saw last week. Happy hunting.

Just remember that there's other criteria for outgrowing a seat :)  If they hit max height OR have less than 1" of shell above their head, the seat is outgrown, even if they're under the weight or under the standing height limit.

Nope since I like to carry her in if she falls asleep. We have the convertible ready to go though. We purchased the Recaro.
  • My infant seat expired when DD was 6 weeks old so she's been in a convertible for awhile. I got her a Graco Mysize 70 which I've been really happy with. DS is in a Britax Boulevard.

Yes we have because Elise reached maxed height for our Britax. We have moved her to the Diono Radian. She (we) loves it.
  • We have his infant seat in one car and convertible in the other. We use the one with the convertible a lot more.

  • R is still in the infant bucket, too.  But I just ordered his convertible and it actually should be arriving today.  I will probably keep him in the bucket until at least the end of the month though.  It's so much easier to throw a blanket on him while he's already in the car seat, rather than juggle him and a blanket and my toddler :)
