Hypnobirthing Decision

So I had been trying to decide between hypnobirthing, hypnobabies and Bradley method.  Last week I had this dream about labor and giving birth (it was in a very odd place and strangely I did it all by myself), but when I woke up I felt very much at peace and knew I wanted to do Hypnobirthing. So I am currently speaking with 2 teachers and will probably start next month. I wanted to thank everyone for all their input on the posts I have made about the three methods.

Last night I couldn't fall asleep so I decided to go on  youtube and see what Hypnobirthing tracks they had. I listened to the Rainbow one they had...it was only four minutes long. I probably didn't make it halfway through and I was already out. I fell into a deep sleep until I woke up for the bathroom. It was very nice and relaxing! I may start doing it every night until classes start.  Thanks for all your help!


BFP #1 ended in MMC. Discovered Oct 2005 @10w5d, baby stopped growing around 6w. D&C.
BFP#2 Nov 2005. Baby's heart stopped @ 8w3d. D&C Jan 2006. Trisomy 18
BFP#3 Nov 2006. My "miracle baby" DD born 7/25/07
BFP #4 11/6/12. EDD 7/16/13~my birthday! No sac found @ 5w1d, betas not increasing. Natural m/c started 11/20/12.

BFP#5 11/9/13.  EDD 7/21/14  Our beautiful rainbow born on his due date!!

    Awesome!  It sounds like Hypnobirthing will be a good fit for you!

    Good luck! I'm almost done reading the Hypnobirthing book and have been listening to the CD tracks as well as some other tracks from amazon nightly (I'm 27 w and my classes start in a few weeks).  I have been enjoying it.

    I signed up for classes that aren't a particular method, but I wanted to work on some of the hypnobirthing ideas on my own. I purchased this CD from Amazon and the CD 2 for under $5 for both and have been listening to the affirmations every day and trying to listen to at least 1 of the others each day too. For the price, they are super easy to build into your practice and day!

    I don't start my Hypnobabies classes for another few weeks, but the instructor sent us a starter CD with 2 tracks.  I am supposed to alternate between the two tracks and listen to one each day.  I fall asleep or zone out most of the time, but oddly enough I usually wake up as she is counting me out of the hypnosis.  I find it pretty awesome :D.

    I took a hypnobirthing class, and loved it.  If you go the self-study route, make sure you purchase the CD with the Rainbow Relaxation on it- this track is not on the CD that comes with the book.  Our instructor basically said if that's the only track you every listen to, you'll be just fine.
